You should switch your mouse to num pad, there is a switch on the bottom of your mouse for this. That was you free up your 1-6 (some key binds I use) to hotkey extra abilities :)

Your original question was asking about his 'pet'. The horse he is riding is a 'mount' and is called the Vicious War Steed. It is a reward for winning 75, 150 and 300 RBG's! More info on mounts in game can be obtained at mounts.wowology.com
