Sup, Ded! I actually just recently got a 2015 bottle of DH, as I tried basically all of the other flankers first. I've had bottles of DH Parfum, Intense, Eau, Cologne and Sport 2011, 2017 and 2021. IMO, the Parfum and Intense are my favorite nighttime/cold-weather versions of the DNA, with the Cologne flanker being the best summer frag ever created and Sport 2021 being my favorite of the Sport formulations and having the best performance and overall scent profile. All that said, I should've started with the OG first, as it really is "iris, perfected" as George, The Frag Apprentice, described it in a vid recently. Definitely the simplest version of the DNA, but it really is timeless and arguably the best. Great vid, as always!

I love the entire Dior Homme line with Iris. I only wear them from time to time. Being discontinued, I don't want to waste them. Like Dior Homme Eau, so fresh, but so hard to try and find another bottle.

they went up in jomashop to 169, I just bought a bottle few days ago, waiting on delivery now, I have the homme intense pre formulation, potent juice, and I have the parfum 2.5oz preformulation bottle very potent, so excited to receive original, next one I will pickup from line is the also discontinued eau, hard to find though, I have some different era sports, they are also very good, I do not have any of the cologne ones, many different eras too for those, but I am not into light fresh scents, loud and bold.

I got two 100ml bottles plus two 50ml bottles of the Original. I'm sprung on Dior and got 8 full bottles and 7 decants of all of the homme line and eau & cologne plus 50ml 2012 & 125ml of 2021 sport

happy you got the original but that is not 2011 formulation. in 2020 they made the distinction between Dior Homme Original & Dior Homme 2020, its very confusing. Check out Sebastian's breakdown on it. but yes the Dior Homme Original & Dior Homme Parfum are now Paris exclusives. only intense is sold in US. happy you got it , it is truly a holy grail fragrance now.

Correct! I live in Paris and have a few bottles in cold storage, just in case the cruel corporate bean-counters at LVMH give it the axe. It’s a beautiful scent and I wouldn’t want to be without it.

Dior Homme came out in 2005. The recreated EDT version came out in 2011. There is Dior Homme cologne, Dior Homme Eau, Dior Homme Sport, Dior Homme Intense, Dior Homme Parfum. The 2011 version was a recreated version by Franscois Demachy. When the 2011 version came out the "Original" label was not on the box or bottle.

Yes, the current Original must be newly produced which Dior does very rarely and in limited numbers. That's why it's so difficult to find.

The word Original was added to the version released in 2021, to differentiate it from the Dior Homme (completely different scent - and fronted by Robert Pattinson) released in 2020. Dior Homme Original was made to be exclusive to the European market, hence its limited distribution. The newer Dior Homme is pretty much available everywhere.

Hey Dedrick! For me it is not redundant to have Dior Homme Original and Intense. The lighter, muskier take of Dior Homme Original is more versatile.

You should try Perfume Parlour - French House, it's 80-90% the same of the original ;-). The 10% are the power (stronger for PP) and the lack of the special touch of the original

I grew to appreciate DHI Dior homme I grew to LOVE. I don’t know if it’s the Iris or a combination of all the other notes but that fresh waxy powdery buttery opening is un matched & the dry down is just as enjoyable. I’m down to my last sprays of a bottle I got back in 2016. Hopefully I can get a bottle of this version before my bottle runs out!

Thanks to you I finally got to smell DHI and I definitely ain't confident enough to rock it out in the real world 🤣 Gonna be a personal e enjoyment scent for at home, spray on my hand and sniff away. Only iris frags I had got my nose on before hand was le male le parfum and Prada l'homme and DHI is just a different breed. Good stuff tho and appreciate you.

this is not a 2011 release, this is actually a newer release of the original 2011 formulation because people sounded off on Dior 2020 which was missing the iris note.
