Very happy to see your own happy reaction to this song. Jacob is THE most remarkable musician, and person. If you liked this, you should most assuredly listen to more of him. He is a musical polymath operating at a level rarely, if ever, seen in our times in his musicality. His ability to bend melody, harmony and rhythm touch parts of your mind that are rarely touched. In addition to that musicality, he seems genuinely to be possessed by a remarkable spirit of openness and acceptance - to me, he's the acceptable face of diversity and inclusion! There is so much beauty in his music and it seems that it represents a considerable beauty in his spirit. A good number of people have beautiful spirits, of course. But I've never seen someone so able to articulate it so powerfully through music. He is currently my chosen representative to stand before the advanced alien race that lands on earth and wishes to see an example of the best of humanity. There is so much of his music and performances that is available to see on KZbin - he has a channel in his own name here, if you wanted to check that out - but, as a recent example, here is a recent recording of a song from his forthcoming album that has a similarly beautiful spirit to "Witness Me" and which demonstrates a number of aspects of his amazing musicality. The choir you'll see was drawn, as I understand it, from such people as were willing and able to meet up at the church where it was recorded in response to a message on Instagram. All welcome.
