The real problem is we, the people of Canada, can’t do anything to remove a politician out of office without the full cooperation of the parliament, provincial or federal. If somebody wants to support the dissatisfactory politician we get Justin Trudeau. Since they, politicians, work for us there should be some mechanism for the people to directly remove them from office, without politics interfering with the process. By not giving the citizens the right to directly affect the vote of non confidence, I don’t see it improving any time soon. I’m not confident of my knowledge of parliamentary law to know, or even speculate, how that should made to work, or even IF it can be done.

It took us about 15 years to undo most of the damage that Pierre Trudeau did to Canada, some has never been fixed to this day. The problem is that the situation today is much worse. I’m afraid to say that the good times age gone forever and the Canada we once knew is now just a memory. I can see Justin Trudeau dragging this current Parliament out as long as possible before we see a Conservative tidal wave across the country. The Liberals and NDP will be punished in every riding except for their loyal strongholds, and we may even see the Bloc as His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition. We’ll have a brief respite of a majority government where things won’t get any worse, and may even improve in some areas. We’ll have a few balanced budgets with perhaps tackling the national debt a little. Next, there’ll be another smooth talking Liberal leader that will make the girls swoon, promising everyone more and more free stuff. The voters will be fed up with austerity and we’ll be right back where we started…lather, rinse, repeat. I really hope I’m wrong, but I’m an old guy who has seen way more decades go by than I care to think about. Sometimes I wish Canadian voters have really long memories and this cycle does not continue, but the realist in me thinks otherwise.

Healthcare sucks here. Almost a year ago I went to the hospital cause of sever pains. Found out it's a 12mm kidney stone. That whole process 19hrs just to be given a script for advil😑 and when I asked about getting it surgically removed he told me to go home I'll be fine passing it 😑(8mm is the biggest a male can pass) me being some spawn of stones I have passed 3 other stones since and that 12mm is still there. Trying to get a specialist is wildly hard......mind you few months ago my aunt ended up getting a stone but the Dr took her right away for the procedure to break it down 😑...healthcare system picks and chooses who they help....Ive tried getting a family doctor so they can refer me to the specialist but the only appointment i received to get a family dr she called in sick that day and nobody called to even inform me. The hunt continues 😂....fuck this government and its bullshit

Frwe health care is such a delusion in canada. Its not free IT WAS NEVER FREE, still.paid for it with taxes. Currently about 63% of all income tax goes to health care. We actually by and large pay more for our health care than people in USA do, and like.these guys say most of what we goes to burocracy not that actual hospitals.

It's generally accepted that Canada has better overall access to healthcare, but longer wait times for specialized care. But surveys regarding satisfaction with quality of care are routinely equal for both countries. In short, it's wrong to say that either country has a better system. I haven't done a deep-dive, but numbers show US spending 30% percent of it's healthcare budget on administrative costs, with Canada spending 16%. These are the first numbers I've found, I can't guarantee them, but I can guarantee that Canadian bureaucracy, anywhere and on any level, is not larger than America's. Joe Rogan and his guests routinely get things wrong. They'll see an article about how much Trudeau has grown the government, then they'll say that Canada is a communist country. All while ignoring the fact that their own government dwarfs ours on every level. America is the land of bureaucracy.
