winnie winner I'm not sure about the best lore but there had been little consistency prior to it. I think because it essentially followed Warcraft 3 with a bit more detailed helped greatly. It was the first time they took lore seriously within WoW

Even his lust for power and relentless acts against the legion i think Ner'zhul is pretty cool guy at first. Also how people blamed Arthas on everything i'm sure that's just Ner'zhul controlling him like he controlled another still light paladin Bolvar.

I think that in Rise of the Horde it said that Ner'zhul was tricked by the demon at first into believing that it was the ancestors that were telling him what to do. I remember that he told him that he was a being greater than the ancestors and so he thought that if the ancestors truste4d him he should to. I don't remember it ever saying that he had a last for power.

It began as pure manipulation and trickery, but once he got a taste of power from the Legion, it became his motivation. He wasnt evil at the beginning of his arc, but by the time of Warcraft 2, he was genuinely obsessed with power, and was willing to betray his people to hold onto it. The video kinda minimizes that part. There was a period where he had power over the Orcs and was their leader (due to the Legion's machinations), but thought Kil'Jaeden and the rest of the Legion had forgotten about him

What I don't get is in Alternate Universe Draenor, supposedly all of this happened but at the last minute before drinking the blood, the orcs changed their minds. However, Nerzhul's wife, Rulkan, is also alive in this timeline... so, how did Kil'Jaedan influence Nerzhul initially? Or did he or Archimonde go straight for Gul'dan instead because they didn't have an ancestor to influence Nerzhul?

+Sacaed Garrosh told Grommash about what happens and the rest of the ORc clans learn about it. This changed things, Rulkan lives because obviously alternate timeline so things are different. Since the blood was rejected Kil'Jaeden's plan was out and eventually a more...direct approach was needed.

its one of the stupid alternate worlds. there are milions of them. in this timeline garrosh didn't even born. just a blizzards fail since mists of pandaria when they realized that they don't have an end boss and no proper storyline, so they made garrosh being a madman. too bad.

This is false nerzhul never lusted for power. The hell screams and iron horde came to him and said join us or we will kill you and your entire clan. So he shattered the ancestral stone breaking his bond with the ancestors and allowing the void to come to him. That stone is what was keeping the void from draenor. That is how the void came to him and he was able to take naru and turn them evil. The burning legion didn't come to him until they saw how strong he was with the void and if anyone knows about the void it's sargeras. Sargeras came to nerzhul as his dead wife and tricked him. Once nerzhul realized what was up that is when sargeras bound him and even then they were barely able to contain him because of the void. The void is the absolute strongest evil that exists in wow period. Guldan was nerzhuls apprentice guldan never had a connection with the void but he did make a deal with the burning legion to give the orcs fel blood.
