Lol buzzy bro i grew up in mt roskill just around the corner from muzzas pies and my oldman use to bring us home muzzas pies as treat once every blue moon, I also been following mark weins since about 2018 and was fully buzing out when i seen him doing a review at muzzas pies. Never thought hell be in NZ let alone visiting a shop from my childhood haha chur bro💯🇳🇿🇳🇿

Been to muzzas twice, never going back. The mince and cheese was bland and tatseless and the bacon and egg was dry and overcooked. Blue Rose on Sandringham Road has the goods 💪

@jamaleats I've only tried the smoked fish. I went in for the boil up pie but they didn't have any. They are a bit pricey so don't go there all the time but the smoked fish was hella worth it. Perfect pastry and filled to the brim. I definitely rate them over muzzas. Also Green Bay bakery have got one of the best steak & cheese. If you ever in the area I recommend it

To me, a steak n cheese pie, must have chunks of steak in it, when I eat pies with no chunks I automatically call it mince and cheese pie 😅. But I'm interested to findout what that triple cheese pie she was talking about.

@@unclejase1977 hahaha once any pie goes in my mouth it’s becomes minces but nah this is legit nice filling the crust is not my favourite but worth a jam , also if you want a gourmet pie goes to the Japanese bakery Barkers dairy on Rosebank for a chicken Katsu pie

@@jamaleats have many from working as a builder and trying shitloads of different bakerys. I mean muzzas pastry is great, its not a bad pie but i find their filling generic and has a canned processed meat flavour to it. Theres one in torbay which ive forgotten the name of which is decent, the one in ellerslie close to charlie baxters is pretty good but a little on the heavy side, piefie in krd is great, out of Auckland the fairlie bakery in fairlie south island and there was one at the bottom of tekapo that was great also. Best place was foodroom in ponsonby but its no longer there. Favourites would be steak and cheese or steak and mush, mince and cheese, chicken and mushroom. I mean NZ has alot of good pie shops but only a handful of exceptional ones.

There’s too many awesome pie places bakeries in NZ North Shore South Auckland Hamilton everywhere I’m in Oz their pies are shite lol But some shops over here write kiwi pies on their store front window 😂 NAH BRUH!

@jamaleats it actually depends on pie I'm craving... was linehaul driver for years from very top to south there's some great pie shops out there so fortunately I've tried some amazing pies n unfortunately there's alot of rubbish out there tooooo

@jamaleats in aucks I like kohlens in kumeu ... small bakery things sell out quickly... their lamb n kumara pie and steak n cheese.... while there try their garlic cheese twist bread ( if available prob sells out the quickest )
