I've had may older Russian people from the Soviet era sing old bollywood songs to me, including the apparently famous I am a disco dancer! I was indeed in shock and awe at first but later learnt that boycotting America during the cold War meant a huge vacuum in the entertainment industry, which was fulfilled by bollywood!
