one thing I would recommend doing sometime is to go through the level grind, watching your character develop from a local hero to a living legend is such a fun experience and learning to take it slow is what really makes GW2 great

Ha Ha loved the comment about "Now I got the gear on I'm ready for PVP, in GW2 all gear is normalised and has no effect in PVP (which you can enter at lvl 2 and be at max level btw) and the fractal part, yes if in WoW and you pulled all the mobs, you woulda been hated on, glad you had fun.

Welcome mate to the community! If I may give you and advice, at least once, do all the story from beginning without using 80-boost! As every game the road to cap is immersive and teaches you a lot

@@robertzink4943 not saying it is hard, specially with a ranger, but for the sake of an impression vid, it doesnt make sense to skip the lvelling, which is sometihing that we all love, different from other rpgs, for example. Knowing your class and elite specs do require some time into it, mainly for fractals. Buut, it was an interesting experience to see someone skip a lot of stuff

@@matheussanches6964 there are already hundreds GW2 first Impression videos where people only show 10 min of gameplay from the starter zones. He actually made the effort to show some of the stuff you can do at max level from a new players perspective. Edit: you get your elite after level 80 so the base game is actually useless in terms of getting to know your class.

Well tbh i never did that, slowly learning my way into the game, and look at me now - years later i go mentoring runs for newbs who jump into fractals their first day. There's more than one way to enjoy the game and gw2 gives you a plenty :)

Get berserker stat armor? No way. You got Celestial that will cover all your game learning needs in PvE. Also there's an insane easy mode Druid build from Lord Haizen here on youtube that uses what equipment you have.

The thing is to skip directly to SOTO and get the mounts and play the content because it's a whole new storyline. Then...you can buy the other addons and go back and do the previous stories. The game is packed with players. The original personal story was the worst part...and it was somewhat tolerable. After that, it's fantastic! I'm playing a Soulbeast and love it!

Yup, using boost before learning the game on your own from lvl 1 till 80 is a bad idea :) U miss a lot this way. I highly recommend playin Necro. Better experience than Ranger IMO

While I agree that it’s great to play from 1 to 80 at least once before boosting plenty of players have boosted instantly and still had no trouble playing the game. Also: what class is fun to play is highly subjective and while you might enjoy necro more than ranger that doesn’t mean that everyone shares that sentiment.
