Greg - a couple of questions on turtles and koi ponds. 1- what do you do with the turtles in the winter? did they say the have an under water culvert that they hibernate in? 2- do you have any issues with turtles cutting - scratching holes into the liner?

Hi John! Turtles typically go to the bottom of a pond where the water is more stable during the winter months. Here's an interesting article from the Minnesota Zoo about a turtle's life in winter: mnzoo.org/blog/what-do-turtles-do-in-the-winter/ Aquascape ponds are lined with rock and gravel so no worries about turtles scratching holes in the liner.
