I am what you would call a poor person, I am 64 years old and I barely get by with what social security gives me, I have the ability to work if I want more money but I have decided not to at my age because there's no telling when the end will come for me, I have never really had a strong desire to be wealthy but I have always been grateful to live in a country that gives that option if I wanted to, I believe trusting in God's provision as a higher priority, I do know that when all our citizens are allowed to be prosperous then the entire country will benefit from that, I know if you take away the right for the rich to prosper then they will either close up shop or move to a different country, I believe that Reaganomics (some people to malign and mock him called it trickle down economics) should be more properly called overflow economics, which means when everyone is allowed the right to prosper then prosperity will overflow on everyone but not to everyone in equal amounts because not everyone is willing to try or work the same as the others just like I am not willing to try as much as my neighbor, but I should not point fingers at those who prosper more than me just because they are working harder or inherited it from someone who worked hard for them. The left extremists are intentionally trying to tear our country apart so they can then rebuild it in the image that they want, which just happens to be another form of Marxism with different names. If the people of this country are not willing to study history and learn about what Marxism truly does to a country then we are doomed. So just think of us that are poor. I'm on SSDI. I took a part-time job just to cover groceries and fixing my car. My SSDI covers my bills. They cut us down a whole $23 and food stamps. They're raising our insurance rates. Heard Cola was supposed to be 18% this year but we got a whole 3.2%. I still believe somebody is screwing with the numbers. Considering inflation has been over 50% on most of everything. And next year we're getting screwed again with a 2.5% increase... 😢 Every time I go into the grocery store prices have increased.
