Rampage commentary “ E just lost a big pot so typically I wouldn’t three bet this, but given this specific player and in this pot, I’m not entirely sure but I decide to represent a premium holding. He then 4 bets me and given this player I think a call or a fold is fine, but here I elect to call. The flop comes out and did not hit his range nor mine. He c bets this flop and seeing as my perceived range is a premium pocket pair, I call. The turn comes and it’s another blank and we have no draws and only have ace high. He bets and we call continuing to see a river. I’m not entirely sure why I called but against this specific player I decide to call. The river comes out and he puts out a fairly large bet for half pot. Looking down all we have is Ace high, we aren’t winning by calling and folding is boring so we elect to jam here and just get really unlucky when he snaps it off with trips. Not entirely sure if I played this correctly, I could have folded. Let me know in the comments if I should do something else for a career besides play poker.

The doing things “against specific players” line of thinking is mainly indicative of him believing he is much better than most around him and that he can outplay them and all he is actually doing is punt off/donk off money all over the place.

There’s really nothing else Rampage is repping here besides weirdly played pocket 10s EXACTLY 7 9 of diamonds , no other 79 combo gets to the river as just a gut shot , but 79 of diamonds would almost always be raised on the flop with a straight flush draw , all sets should be raising at least by the turn and definitely leading most rivers since most QQ or JJ is snap checking back on the river and maybe even some Kx suited combinations plays some pot control and checks on the end. Very poorly played and not just unfortunate that he ran into top set , I see all other value hands sniffing it out too cause it’s such a dry board his line made zero sense

I mean everything about this was weird.... he called the flop and turn with NOTHING in hopes to turn the river into a check jam? Also E could just check the river with all his marginal value hands and win.. so rampages entire line is insane lmao.

Ya like what if E has AQ/AJ, “bluffs” turn to get a fold from like 77-99, decides to not follow through on river and just gets to win? Is Ethan calling turn because he thinks he’s good often enough? This hand isn’t strong enough to showdown facing a turn bet. It’s debatable to continue on flop without a club on board. At least no one will ever fold to Ethan again
@everythingallin49053 жыл бұрын
Maybe he thought he was ahead vs smaller suited aces which are in his 3bet range and only had to call one more or he was planning on jamming on any river diamond missed and did it anyway. Hard to say.
@hornetguy90633 жыл бұрын
Everything All In it’s just a mess in itself. Like if he needs a bluff here, it’d be something like T9s or 76s. Having the ace is double bad because if we’re going to rep a straight, we want him to be value betting AK or AA. This is a huge call for one pair, but it’s obviously brain dead for top set because Ethan could be valuing a worse hand
@Jobysworld3 жыл бұрын

Really just an all-around awful play from Ethan. Let's leave aside the fact that he's floating out of position with no draws (backdoor or otherwise), no blockers, and no showdown value. But what exactly is he repping on the river here? He doesn't have KK because he 4bets that pre. He doesn't have 88 because he folds that on the turn (well.... he should) He SOMETIMES MAYBE has 22, 66, TT or KTs, but he would usually be raising those hands by the turn, given the flush draw on board. He shouldn't really even have 79 of diamonds because that should be folding pre. He's repping an extremely narrow range, and this should have just been a fold on the flop (if not pre). Really bad bluff.

Ethan. My boy. Why? Flop call is questionable enough. Turn call is lunacy. How are we even in a spot to bluff this hand lol

It’s plays like this that makes me never respect Rampages game. He just punts all the time
