In western traditional astro its in detriment in gemini as it struggles with overintellectualising here and can't simply trust things that arise. Also prone to overstimulation due to constant need for learning facts and data---leads to data overload. I can relate as this is my own placement.

Absolutely true as I've dealt with the same. For me it's that when I was younger it was a detriment (more so socially and academically) with Gemini being the leading part of the pair but not knowing how to wield Jupiter's power properly. As I got older Jupiter took the lead and the beneficial planet that it is allowed me to figure out how i could make those 2 things work in my favor. Can't turn it off (effectively anyway), might as well put it to work.

Pronam Teacher 🙏❤️🙏 This is my Jupiter . Thank you for detailed analysis. From my side , I am an investor in share market ( but with less patience) . I teach mostly teen- agers and with them I enjoy teaching and we share very friendly relations . I started learning Jyotish last 3 years and since then several times i felt I am not on the same platform with my teachers and that actually helped me to seek further . I started following Sidereal system first (as an Indian it's kind of obvious), but later on , when I get knowledge of Tropical system I found it scientific and stick to it. Then lordship of Nakhastras with planets , then Navamsha Nakhastras...those knowledge might be popular but I could not be able to digest it and left those path of the knowledge too. . I think because Jupiter is sitting opposite of his own house , there might be a tendency to go opposite of the tradition or common methods. I think my Jupiter is youthful , happy but less experienced and looking forward also appealing personality .
