As someone who did the insane title grind back when it was in its complete state, this sounds like a breath of fresh air compared to that. At least you get to actually do different things during this meta achiv...insane is just the same shit...over and over, for a year.

oof, i hear that... though those who utilize the Anniversary wont have to grind it that long for the title. since there's a 50% Classic Rep buff up, PLUS a 20% Boost to Rep in general thanks to the Anniversary, all the way until Jan 7 2025.

Luckily I got Mecha-done and Undersea Userper done during BFA, so, that's a chunk less to worry about...

Same here. I am glad I got both of those when they were current. However, I will wait to see what the actual requirements are when the patch comes out. I suspect that some of them will be dropped or will be changed. I also hope that rng on some of these will be improved. I still do not have the sand fishing achievement, for example.

I am done with all the painful parts you mentioned when it was current content. I believe I just have 2 achievements to complete, and then I will have the mount.

I love the look of that mount so I'll probably try to do the achievement and then get distracted by another game and forget what I was doing when I start playing WoW more. That's what happened to me with the Shadowlands meta. 😅 To be fair I played a lot in Battle for Azeroth so I have a good chunk of the achievements done.

The /love achievement is in the War Within Meta. If you're doing that one, i recommend finding spawn sites and creating a macro.

"Tell Me A Tale" Has been a personal cockblock since BFA. I've run so many islands during and since BFA and 3 quest items will never drop.

Yup... RNG was a pain in the ass for achievement collectors in BfA, it was very frustrating. There were even some smaller achievements that couldn't be completed if you were Horde.

Do we know which pvp tasks will not be required for the achievements? I can't find any info regarding Notorious and the pvp Heart of Azeroth essences, and I'm concerned that they will be required despite being impossible to earn.

@@LazyBeastGaming I saw updates to the achievement list on wowhead! Didn't see anything specifically calling out the HoA essences (I could be blind), but not having to do PVP islands is a huge relief.

Which vinyl? It's been years, but I don't recall her dropping any unique ones. I know she can drop any of them, but the chances are stupid low. I know there were some tricks that made it easier to get some of them from other sources.

Jani was me favorite Loa in BFA, so much so that i named my Zandalari Cat Druid after her. so now Janimala has a new purpose, she will seek to earn Jani's highest favor and earn the Mount. some of this i had already done back in BFA and i already had a long list of things i needed to get from BFA still, so it's just another reason to return to The Fourth War once more. i was gonna skip Season 2 of TWW anyway outside of leveling toons, so that's my plan as of 11.1 release.

... ive been missing Holographic Digitalization Relay and Encrypted Black Market Radio for years. Only thing i have left on Mecha done... so frustrating. Fortunately, i have nazjatar done. Island expeditions i have a few remaining, but not terrible. Went around and finished my treasures last week in prep. Otherwise from what i can tell not TOO bad but need to look into how much alliance stuff ill need to do or if i actually did it... will just have Mecha-Dome lock me out for another 6 years.

@@knighthawk3749 Ya, that one was my fault. For like 2 years i thought i was missing the pvp pattern from the cave... and was farming that.... already had that one and was missing this one. Now just never see him up... Oddly enough, i got a paragon chest literally today and holographic digitalization relay was in it... after years of farming. So ill just need Gao to show up 3 times and im done! :D

Also by getting the war achievement on both factions, you can earn the "There Are Two Sides to Every Tale" achievement and the opposite faction's base mount. Horse for Horde and wolf for Alliance. I did it during SL, but it's even easier now.

i got Taivan yesterday cuz i going hard and did most of the DF achievements last summer and got burnt out and then just put forbidden reach on hold. i went in this week to finally get the mount and honestly looking back at things. i think i would do them again cuz i really liked dragon flight. nice zones good story overall my fav expansion. but fuck BFA going back and entering islands or some other shit that they thought was nice at the time is a hell naaaaaaah. other than covid there was no real reason to play bfa honestly if the mount was a bit nicer sure. but over all seems like this is pain galore and ptsd mixed in together in a bag. imagine having to go back and deal with bfa bullshit for a mount that looks subpar. this just like the shadowland mount will be a pass for me because the expansion themselves bring nothing but bad memories. im currently doing the achievements for TWW so i dont get burnet out and get it when it comes out even if the mount looks bad the zones and achievements sure do feel nicer.

It’s not currently live, wowhead does have a guide with a useful comment where someone’s left a script to see if you’ve completed the achievements, it’s quite a few strings of comments, but it is handy

If I already did most the island expedition ones, will it carry over? I farmed a lot of the Island Expeditions and got the mounts from the vendors the required 1000s of coins and also the pets..... so I am hoping it just carries over..

Meta achievements should not involve things that involve RNG or timegating. Completing all the stuff for pathfinder, sure. Getting all of the island stuff and warfront stuff done is ridiculous.

Do not forget about the achievement Essence Essentials, its horrible if you have not completed it yet... :c annoying quests for expedition pvp for exemple and more..

Not great, adds to the general annoyances WoW gives you, earlier this year I finally gound out 10 eggs for the mount in Korthia, nothing, go to wowhead, its a 'known issue' and nothing is and has been done about it and tickets are brushed off. That is frustrating.

THAT is the problem with WOW in a nutshell "Something to do". WOW has stagnated so bad that the game is based around "Something to do" rather than to have fun. the game has Min/Maxxed itself into trying to create inane content to pander to the ADHD, and keep that sub going

This is not a healthy way to engage with the game. They could add an achievement to rp walk from one end of a continent and back and call that content and people would do it. I think more people need to self-reflect and realize these made up "achievements" are not worth your time or sanity. They're made up to fill you up with busy work during content droughts so they can keep collecting your sub.
