Looks okay, feels like it lacks depth. If they added a gear system, as well as fleshing out the melee/ranged combat system, it would feel a lot better. There needs to be a rewarding way to play the melee combat that isn't just "insert aoe on ground here". I kind of genuinely think that having the class system in this would be awesome. You could "unlock" spells/abilities from your class as the game progresses rather than this weird mish mash that doesn't feel super rewarding. Only having weird aoe spells that need to be aimed is a strange choice. I get that they want to add skill expression and not just have people get stat checked, but I do feel there is a way to get the balancing right. I think it has legs, but the abilities need to be more fleshed out. Add a class system. Add a gear system. Maybe add some more interactable things on the map that aren't simply NPC's. I give it 7/10.

@@hunterw988 it quite literally is in fact, WoW. You can create a battle royal out of the flesh and bones of WoW that has depth but is also it's own standalone game. This current iteration is not gonna keep people hooked for very long. Adding a class BASED system would be so mega dude. Imagine each class has like 12 tailored abilities that can drop and you have to create a build out of 4-5 of them. You get to have archetypes of abilities that tailor the games experience to what you enjoy. I'm personally not a fan of all the spell casting; I play a rogue in regular WoW and would love to be able to play this in a similar way (it doesn't have to be exactly the same). The gearing system I'm talking about would literally just be getting loot drops from players or mobs that give stam/int/str/agi as gear. This reduces the snowballey nature of just killing people for xp, which in effect is the same thing as gear, just auto applied btw.
