Another GREAT report on another GREAT week for SpaceX. What a week! Maybe some custom tiles to deflect plasma around the flap hinges during hypersonic reentry? SpaceX aerodynamic engineers are probably doing the computational fluid dynamics modeling for that right now. 🙂 IFT-5, here we come! The way Starship continued to function properly with so much control surface structural damage during an early flight test makes me want to fly in that vehicle when the design is finalized.

It is so good to be able to follow Spacex construction at Starbase. The pile cap on OLT-2 is huge, being twice as wide as the tower column centers. And becoming clear where OLM-2 is to go. Minor detail is where the catchment pond for water deluge runoff is to be built. What is best guess as to date of 1st section of OLT to be erected ?

Wonder if they have to file for road closure and shut the highway down for moving the rings around the the front of the building to the ring yard, seems like they could just do a hold but I’m not sure how long it would take for the spmts to get around the new star factory🤔

@TheEvilmooseofdoom I'm sure someone would be screaming from the rooftop if there were no or just minor injuries doing this stuff. Sweeping it under the rug is a disservice to the workers. People are putting their lives on the line and should be recognized for that part of it as well.

@@MattheasJ Dude, many have already asked. There are like a million articles on the sexual harassment and mistreatment of women going on at SpaceX. Not to mention the lawsuits. Don't just swill the kool-aid. I admire what SpaceX is doing and am 100% on board. Still, you can't just sweep bad shit under the rug because of it.
