1:33 this is a very old issue, but if you jump out of an aoe before landing, and the aoe hits, it tracks your position from the initial jump spot, so the game sees them as inside the aoe, when the player model is not.

Can you explain again as I don´t understand. Obsidian Beam is the literal purple beam that shoots out of the boss and requires the player to circle around the boss in order to not get hit or am I missing something?
