He regrets it, I'm sure. We've known "of" each other for 20 years when I had an ownership interest in the music business, and he literally was a "player" - he was and still is a rather remarkable musician. I was married in those days so we did not connect personally until I was single again - a couple of years ago - at which time he began to court me. We have had some amazing moments together. Unfortunately he has a habit of being attracted by bright and shiny objects. If he comes back, no matter what his story will be, I doubt there will be a reason for me to pick up again where we left off. I've moved on with my life.
