As a self employed contractor I know how stressful it can be to use a new product,but these guys are unfamilar with the product, tools, knowledge and skills it takes to complete a project. I think they are doing a fine job. They can work on my job site any time. Hi I am a new subscriber but have been following your work for a while. In my opinion it is both of you that makes your channel so interesting and valuable. Specifically you both care for one another (your well being and emotional support for one another is awesome to see every day, from beginning to end of day), you are not bothered by your mistakes and freely share your learning experience, you both work so well together and understand one another (how you think about the project and share ideas together, very complementary!). A channel featuring either one of you would not be nearly as interesting, it is both of you that is the success of your channel. I am sure your comments from some viewers come from their learning and professional experience to their credit but you guys share a special relationship with us that I think is greater than home building. I am an old retired guy whose wife passed away more than two years ago and I miss her more than any projects I have done. Please continue your precious time together sharing with us if it pleases you. Thanks!

Alyssa, don't forget, the sawzal USUALLY works best when the guard is againts the object, and it saves your hands! You guys are great!( i realize this is last week lol) but for future!
@Lmiller2017 жыл бұрын
Tylor Gross i was thinking the same thing, however she's cutting on styrofoam, the guard would dig in and actually make it more of a pain. my thought would be to use a grinder with a cutoff wheel for trimming and a sanding disk for remove the spray foam. i had a project where i had to use spray foam to fill gaps before applying a waterproofing spray. the sanding disk made quick work of it and it smoothed out really well

You guys are doing great! Don't forget safety though. A basic fall arrest harness will save your life when you are near the edge on a tall structure and tired. Even folks in the trades use them. One 6 foot fall can end your life if you land wrong. Also stick to hand tools if you have to cut towards yourself. Much less likely to do serious damage. Finally, speaking as someone who learned the hard way...always lift with your legs and not your back. Remember, you have a long way to go so pace yourselves for the long term and to avoid burn out. Remember to take moments to enjoy the process and the learning. We are rooting for you! Take care of yourselves and each other!

Such an spectacular achievement, you should both be very proud. If I may... Many of us are watching a loving couple achieving their dream. Complete the romance novel for us :) This is my favourite KZbin Miniseries.

I can't agree totally with that one, sorry dcsoxford, good observation though, well spotted. On looks alone I would say yes, but I'm a Mechanic and I don't wear my wedding band to work for safety reasons. I'm thinking because of the physical labour and the nature of the work involved, it might be a practical reason to not wear wedding bands.

omg i love watching you guys worked together ... just want you to know how much i appreciate that you video taped it and are sharing with all of us .my husband and i did work together and at first we didn't... we had our own jobs the first 10 years of our marriage . and we never had as much time together .long story short ! We finally got tired of working for other people so he asked me one day would i be interested in just dropping everything i was doing. leave everything i worked hard for and as well as himself and just start working together. well i at first was a little Leary about it because i enjoyed what i was doing finally ! at least that is what i thought . the moral of the story is we wasted so much time over the years listening to other people say oh its not good working with your spouse you would go crazy !! well that was just not so . we had 10 years working for other people and the next 20 years we worked together doing home improvements and that fist pump yall just did was such a great memory for me we did that everyday because we were very happy at what weve accomplished together and felt good about it ! as of now my husband has been gone since 2013 .its hard at times but i am very glad we had those 20 years so close together i learned so much from him as well as he did me . life is way to short . i have such great memories because of it and the know how to take care of many things as well ... so we had 34 years together where we may not have had because of some cliche.. etc.. most marriages end because you end up growing apart in your careers . really enjoying these videos thanks so much for posting them . your around the same age we were .just enjoy it ! trust me their wont be any regrets
