@@possiblyaratindisguise3972 primarily Pakistan and lahore were both part of India and Punjabi were Hindu and Indian too it's s just a thing that when people were a heavy suit they say it salwar kameez and lighter one is known as suit, kurti like that but all of them dresses are part of India's cultural so it's obvious that you guys ware it to because in past we all live together so I can understand what are you trying to say And Maangtika is accessory that bride were on their head because as far as I know we Indian ware Lehenga and you too dressing is same but Maangtika identify them because the style of wearing is different As for us Maangtika and makeup were the necessary part of bride like Maangtika , bangles, anklet, feet rings , hand ring, kajal , perfume....were all part of 16 or 18 shringar (16 - 18 elements which is related to beauty or makeup and accessories) but I don't know about Muslims weeding culture because I haven't went yet I have one friend Muslim but her house is very far I live with my sister so in night after 7:00 i usually don't go out and her house is like 3-4 km far so no question arises to go her house and also for me food become a one big reason to.......
