You're right, there always is a message. I read that spread totally differently. For me, it's telling me when they try to come back, to just walk away. "This connection is no longer divinely guided", was what I was getting. Only by walking away, will I get my two of cups. When addiction is mentioned I always wonder/worry because I am an addiction specialist,(professionally) and I wonder if that strong energy from clients is in the mix.... I hope my ARIES DM has not lost his sobriety, however there loads of things you can be addicted to: sex, money, gambling and Co-dependency, which seems the most likely in his case...
