Hi Susan. Both are in natural light by the same window. It's hard to control the weather and therefore the exact lighting but hopefully you can see a texture improvement.

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream was one of my holy grails too....In fact I dedicated and entire video review to this product...But the sticky texture (and some people complain about the smell too) is awkward. I always blend it with a peptide cream to dilute some of the stickiness. I never thought I would consider another night cream but I have found one. Great to have an alternative. I am currently so interested in K Beauty skincare, and want to try alot of them. Im 57yrs old, with dry, dehyrdated, menopausal skin, that is also very sensitive. I cant tell you the money I have wasted on products over the years, that either have stripped my skin barrier and irritated me badly, or simply just havent come through with good results. I need products for sensitve skin, hyrdration and anti aging for mature skin....and these three products that you have shown here, seem to be perfect for what I am looking for. Hi Karlene. Firstly a BIG thanks for subscribing. 🥰 Yes I totally relate to the skin issues you are experiencing. These products helped my skin significantly. While my skin barrier was recovering with the help of these products I also stopped Tretinoin and topical Vitamin C for a couple of weeks then reintroduced these active products. I also changed my makeup remover to an oil based one. These days I can actually skip a moisturiser without feeling like my skin may shrivel up...though its not usually planned ...sometimes I rush out the door without moisturiser because my skin feels so good I forget the step.... I accidentally discovered K skincare a couple of days ago while looking at skin care info - had no idea such products existed, but it makes sense since Asian women all have goregeous skin - they know their stuff! I've subscribed to this channel. This video is so informative! I've not done my skin justice the past few years with quality products, as so many I've tried didn't really provide results. I currently cleanse, use a Vitamin C toner and moisturize, which is better than nothing, but I need more for my post-menopausal skin. Seriously considering starting with these products. I am curious to know why such serums should be PATTED on to the skin instead of massaged in like a moisturizer? Thank you!

@@mrsh4505 I hear you. Menopause has made my skin go bonkers! I've always had good skin, although super sensitive, but since Meno hit me.....I've developed a tendency towards Rosecea around and on my nose, which sometimes makes me look like Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer!!! Attractive....NOT. Mostly, it's the super dryness that gets to me. Some days I feel like a dried up old prune. I've upped my water intake because of this too. Now more than ever, I need products that actually do what they say they claim, and have effective, active ingredients that can make a real difference. I know I cannot stop time and aging, but, I want to at least be able to slow it down a bit. I'm 57yrs, but, I don't want to look 87yrs!!! Ya know? Being an Aussie, we have the harshest sun in the whole world, so, sun damage and skin cancers are a very real reality here, so sunscreen has to be my top priority, even though I loathe wearing any thick, sticky sunscreens, that make me react to the ingredients. So...I will be trying out some of the popular, Korean sunscreens that are gentle and targeted at sensitivity. Good luck with your journey with Korean products....

How Numbuzin goes really depends on your skin. I have Atopic skin type, face skin barrier is weak and dehydrated. For me Numbuzin toner burned out my skin, and thia feeling continued for a whole month. I do agree that tiner does make your skin shy, and also makes my skin feel very dry. It aslo had very strong smell. I switched back to my corx full fit propolis toner and my skin healed back.

I've just purchased No 3 serum because I saw the Firm and Restore cream by The Chelsea Laboratory which everyone is raving about, so I checked the ingredients, they claim that Alteromona ferment extract is the reason for the creams anti ageing success but No 3 also has this ingredient and it's a fraction of the cost of Firm and Restore cream. I originally wanted the Firm and Restore but £60 for 50ml, so glad I googled the ingredient and it brought me to this serum, excited to try it. Thanks for the vid for us more mature women, can't relate to the other bids.

Your glow is amazing! Now that I'm in my 40's, I'm really struggling with dry and occasionally flaky skin. After watching your video I quickly ordered all 3 products in the hopes they will work for me as well as they have for you. Now comes the confusion of exactly how much of each product to use. Can you please share approximately how many drops of toner and serum you have found to be sufficient per application, and an approximate amount of the ceramide cream? Some video reviews on these products say less is more while others appear to be using an excessive amount of product. I'm not sure whether it is for enhanced visual demonstration, or whether that is the amount they typically use. Help! Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Thank you 🥰 I sure can help with the amount...So firstly re the occasional dry, flakey skin...This can be as a result to using active ingredients too frequently, aircon, diet, what you use to cleanse etc. These 3 products will make your skin more resilient due to improving your skin barrier. For the toner I use probably around 4 drops. A little goes a long way and any excess on take down onto my deck and decolletage. I let that absorb and then use around 2 drops of the serum. You will get a feel of how much you need but you don't need to use lots of product. Your skin can only take so much. Once the serum has absorbed I use the ceramide cream. Very little is needed...maybe a quarter to half inch. Warm it on the back of your hand and then press it into your skin. Depending on my skin needs and the season, I will mix a little of the ceramide cream with a lighter moisturiser. I still get the benefits of the ceramide but it makes the texture lighter. I hope this helps hun. Let me know if you have any more questions. 🌸💖

Dear Sheena , I must say that i have finally gathered enough courage to try Numbuzin after watching your video 💖. I've been using locally made skincare until the recent floods affected its manufacturing plant. I have not been getting regular supplies for the past 6 months. Before that, I have tried Sothys and Clarins, but each time there's formula improvement, my skin just went crazy. The transition to Numbuzin was flawless, no irritation, no tiny bumps. The #3 toner and serum plumps up my skin well, pores reduced and the Ceramide makes my skin oh so smooth. Although I double cleanse with Clinique cleansing balm, the #3 PH balancing cleanser does not dry my skin. Loving it all so far 🌺 Terima kasih from 🇲🇾

Hi there. Thanks so much 🥰 Good question. I would say the No.3 toner is a must because its a fantastic first step in your skincare routine. Numbuzin do a range of serums which you can select depending on your skincare concerns (mine was my skin barrier) but the No.3 toner offers a huge amount of bang for your buck and works very well with the No.3 toner. After this, as long as you have an excellent moisturiser and sunscreen you're all set. If on the other hand you have specific concerns you may find another numbuzin serum would be better suited. 🌸

Hi Yulia. Yes I sure do. I use both the No.2 Toner and No.2 Serum morning and night. In the PM I layer Tretinoin (Prescription strength Retinoid) generally every second night and use Vitamin C in the morning layered over the Toner and Serum. Essentially the No.2 Toner and Serum are powerful but gentle so they are fine to use with any active ingredients. I checked this prior to using numbuzin because I didn't want to give up my active ingredients. I hope this helps 😊

I'm a huge fan of Korean skincare and korean television and I honestly don't think Korean women age any better than we do. I mean their 40 year old actresses look 40. And that's pretty strange considering they're all into 12-step skin care programs and sun protection. I still love K beauty BUT I also rely on good old Retin-A and a ton of sunblock for wrinkle prevention.

Hi Marlynne Oh yes! For sure sunscreen and Retin-A are the gold standard for preventing or treating signs of aging skin. I use sunscreen everyday (and have for years) and Tretinoin is part of my nighttime routine. I wouldn't be without either. I keep my routines relatively simple. I don't have time, or the will, for a 12 step routine 🤣 I feel Korean women in general have a high awareness of looking after their skin because they are more susceptible to pigmentation. Daily sunscreen is part of their life from a young age. Personally I have found as I have gotten older my skin barrier has become more fragile. The products I talk about in this video have been fantastic at helping to repair and maintain my skin barrier. I also love that they are not hugely expensive. While she appreciates her heritage,She herself sometimes feels duped by the hype of Korean skincare.😅 skin will only absorb so much. There is no cultural product in of itself that is any better than something from another culture. Flower essences can be problematic. Sometimes the fewer ingredients in a product, the less likely it is that I will experience a rash.

Hi Analissa. Sorry for the late reply. I had some time off over Christmas and NY No these products won't diminish sun spots and the brand doesn't have a product which will do this. I recommend a Vitamin C product (I am currently using the Drunk Elephant one which is excellent). You can expect to see results in 2-6weeks. You may see Hydroquinone products recommended for dark spots but personally I wouldn't use this type of product due to various possible side effects and rebound issues. Importantly SPF every day is essential to prevent more dark spots that occur from sun damage. Overall dark spots can be tricky to get rid of though and often laser treatments are the most effective.
