Wooderlyn . Yep that’s why I’m at a place in my art where I like it and it’s fine since I’ve experimented and practiced a lot ( I’m the best at kids coloring sheets now ) but I’ve kinda lost interest oh well .

I work in oil, watercolor, spray paint, alcohol markers, colored pencils, a few others and I’m trying to get into acrylic and digital art. I personally have always had some sort of love for art, but wasn’t always in the mood so to speak. I hope you find something that interests you, even if it isn’t art in the paint/drawing sense.

Aina Najwa Hi, this was the same thing happened to me and I feel you. I remember 2 years back I used draw and paint a lot. It was my talent. I enjoyed doing it plus I had patience. Art and craft was my childhood. Whenever I felt lonely or bored, I used to draw and paint. At that time when I didn’t have proper brushes or paint, I longed for it. I’m in tenth grade now, and I have all the the things for painting and craft, I have lovely paints and brushes and have lots and lots of color papers, but sadly I don’t even do it anymore. Whenever i look at my paints and brushes in the drawers, I always think that this should have been my stuff long before, when I was interested in using these. I guess it’s all because my studies have become harder and my parents don’t want me to “waste time” in art. I remember there were always other ppl who encouraged me after seeing my talent. Now I feel sad that I’m wasting my talent which many ppl don’t have. And after watching this video I feel the excitement to paint again. But unfortunately, I have an online class after fifteen minutes, so I will paint later. Thx for reading if you did ☺️

They also failed at one point. Practice does not make perfect though, everyone has their own pace. Practice makes permanent. So keep trying :)

I have always loved to paint as a kid. As I grew up, I still loved it. Though there were no real art stores near where I lived and most of them for really expensive so I had to drop the painting. But you have inspired me to try again to paint to try and do the best in all that I do. Thank you ❤

It always blows my mind to see what the right tools and techniques can do (and of course, the gifted artist behind the brush). I used to imagine someone painting stars or snow with a teeny paint brush and spending hours making itty bitty dots. It was definitely a lightbulb moment to see the toothbrush splatter (is that a toothbrush?). These videos are full of enlightening moments like that. Same with the paintings where there are trees and bundles of qtips are used to paint leaves.
