W H A T ! Not only angels are told to obey. We are also commanded as God's children to obey several times - 4 times in John 14 alone. Also, in Romans 6 and in most of the New Testament, we are called to be slaves - as servants living "in the house" of God. Am I to understand that you are referring to children of God no longer serving in heaven? How do you receive that understanding? Because one reigns as king doesn't necessarily mean they don't report to a higher authority - serve someone greater. And if we are ruling and reigning, then over whom or what? If we are ruling, we are ruling on behalf of God still. Is that not still serving? It would be a heavenly kingdom - unlike anything we know of. It sounds as if you speak as though when we become joint heirs, God will no longer be omnipotent - that we will share his throne. Please help me understand that. Thank you Loving you in Christ
