Reminds me of Isla nublars body tether rule. Played on that server once, never went back. Got attacked by carnos then most of my para herd was killed by two rexes camping the fight. They were allowed to since they didn't eat the carno bodies and weren't part of the initial hunt. So they could kill as much as they wanted basically. So that was a bunch of lives and food wasted. It was hard for me to get away cause I was bleeding. Idk how they expect a person to move away when they're bleeding. Nublar heavily favors carnis that's all I'm gonna say.

And those of you saying Pesky got banned for body down. 10ft have a rule where bodies can be claimed. The rexs 3 called and claimed the dead giga. So hunting was a option again. Pesky did nothing wrong. He was the only Apex hunting the herd, body was claimed, and a shant killed the theri. Therfore this ban is unjustified for he broke no actual rules. Edit: I have even asked this rule in a similar situation on their discord. The main problem is that the rex who claimed did not do so with the rest of the apexs around them, a rule break. I get it, every server has their rules but, something this unjust with out previous evidence is not right and half of the Isle community seems to harsh on Pesky.

Took a long break from this game because of the horrible community (ik not everyone is bad but majority is). Came back for evrima and got a good reminder of why I left in the first place. A lot of people who play this game are assholes for no reason. In forums I'll see people comment something absolutely useless and/or something rude on a discussion that's asking for legit help. I want to like this game but I can't. Got killed for sport by two Utahs who already had a body. They killed me in water too. I think water denial isn't a thing anymore but sometimes it doesn't work properly. They kept fighting after the body dropped and the other teno who got killed said to let them eat in peace. Like I would if they would leave me alone. Got called an idiot, bad at the game, and a poor sport. Yeah I was kinda salty but I didn't go nuts. I was just in awe at how op the Utah is and the fact that they killed me even tho they can't even eat my body. All these people who I had just met suddenly ganged up on me in chat for no reason. I don't think I'll play this game for a long while.

Thank you for reminding me why i left that game. Not only are the devs juvenile minded morons but so are admins and players of many servers. I was actually admin for one server that was actually really good but attendance dropped so low that we had to shut down the server. Decisions bu the devs on certain things also ruined the fun for many of us. Currently looking forward to when Beasts of Bermuda and Path of Titans finish up, Super nice devs and they got more content and quality in less time than it took the isle to just exist. It's like choosing between Cheap fast food and sit in dining. One has more quality than the other.

@@fabplays6559 Be that as it may, I believe it would be more tolerable due to better management of their dev staff. I have see better management there than I have at Dondi's circus. I bought their game in advance and a few days later they were doing a reduced price thing. They actually offered to reduce price of previous purchases and I told them I feel they deserve the full price. Dondi and co wouldn't have a half off and not offer such things. Given the recent controversy with them too, I just want to disassociate with that whole mess. I have my own issues with Dondi in general as well. For the last few years, they have so far given off the impression that they don't know what they want their game to be, we had sandbox, then progression, then survival, and they redid T-rex over and over again. So to me I believe they don't know what they want to be, their priorities are in the wrong places, and if anyone directly discusses the issues at hand, they have been banned before. Meanwhile Path of titans seems to see an issue and they actually go to fix it... Given the Isle is the first game I have invested in that is in a WIP state, I was sorta shocked when I finally had GOOD treatment from devs from other games I went to invest in. I was like "so you're not going to yell at me for reporting this glitch?" I understand they will have the same player base but what is better? Rats in a burning dumpster or rats in a nice clean house? Should be a no brainer. I do apologize if I have offended anyone who does like the game, these are just my thoughts and experiences with it. Given the potential I saw in it when I first bought it, I wish I had a better time but I am not developing stockholm syndrome over a game.

I helped create that server in the beginning with the first owner so many years back and it was such a great server but the I was the only admin among a couple that didn't become power hungry. Other admins I helped put in overrode their own rules and I finally called them out as I had helped make that server and it didnt bode well. I lost my role and slowly but surely my friends and I left the server when it got super bad.

I think the admins forgot this is a dinosaur game and that dinosaurs can kill each other and if they kos I get that can be bad but At least ask if they freaking did it. Don’t just assume that the person who said they broke a rule is right and kick/ban the other dude. Also even if Pesky DID kos. He's a giga. All carnivores should be territorial no matter what server. that's the equivalent of *jojo reference* kakyoin getting along with Dio because frick it. (look it up if u don't see my point) and the problem with isle admins is they're too quick to assume somebody did something wrong. here's wut I suggest. Step 1. Tp the accused person to the admin Step 2. attempt to chat to them (do that roar that means u spoke in chat) step 3. make sure u understand wut happened: ask them questions or have them send some recording footage of them not doing wut u thought they did. step 4. Make sure they realize what the fudge just happened so it doesn't happen again Step 5. go back to normal admin stuff. If anybody (mostly admins or pesky) is reading this, plz make sure This is what happens next time an admin is about to do escalate something further than it should be. (side note: the rexes killed/kosed (bc polio was doing nothing) poliostatis and the admins don't care but when pesky literally crouches by a herbivore he gets banned)

I used to be an admin for this server. x.x Played on the server from 2016-2018(2019). I was an 'officer' for about a year and six months (if not a bit longer) and was an admin for about 3 months. I was well liked by the community, but not the other staff members (who I'm sure are not still staff members of the server currently). This was back when DMP was the owner (don't know if anybody remembers that name). I was Deelighla/Dee, and was removed for bullying players, TPing people off cliffs/to kill them, abusing spectator mode. (Going into spectator mode when I was fairly being hunted, etc.) When regulars started asking what had happened to me, they claimed that I retired. They also masked my removal of power as a server restart. People who I was good friends with (such as a player who was an event planner, and a possible new officer/admin recruite) were threatened to be removed/no longer thinking about adding them as a member of the staff. They (a few choice ex-admins/owner) would bully/talk down to specific staff members (the ones that weren't in their little group). They bullied several staff members away, to my count they bullied 4 officers into quitting, then turned their attention onto me. I never stepped down, I didn't let their bullying change my mind about wanting to better the server. So.....they removed me. They also later hired one of my other friends as an admin, and quickly removed him after only a couple of weeks. I still have proof of most of this scattered all across my discord chats - though some of the conversations have been lost in time. TLDR; I used to be an admin for IOFT in 2018 and was removed as staff after close to 2 years. They slandered my name amongst the other staff, and told players I retired. P.S. Rereading what I typed, and I just wanted it to be absolutely clear, I did the TP once (the day I was removed as an admin) and the 'bullying' which was me talking in global to a group of friends who were in VC. They lied about me bullying random players/TPing people to their deaths/to kill them, as well as abusing spectate mode.

I have gone on that server and just when i went through a herd like that (i was a utah) the theri swiped and killed me and 2 gallis, one of the trikes in that herd said "Utah kos'd" but the theri had my side and said "No i killed her and 2 gallis" of course they didn't believe the theri.. i got banned for a week and it said "Kos with body down" and i just didn't play for a while.. Just to be clear.. this was about 2 months ago

I think that the reason that people apply for admin is to feel more powerful than other players and are often caught abusing the role. I have been a witness to it too. My friend was banned for 24 hours from a server because he used pig Latin ONCE. The isle is truly falling apart.

And this very thing is why along with how shitty Evirma was, I'm done with the isle. I have 600 hours on it and dont get me wrong, I had tonnes of fun in my time playing but the shitty server admins who have God complexes are a big part of why I'm just going to look to Path of Titans or even Beast of Bermida instead. Wouldnt waste your time trying to appeal it man. Better games are on the horizon for us all!

Server use to be good, then it went to shit. Admins don't pay any attention at all and do what others say. I was a para one time and sucho walked beside me, he a walked(going extremely slow) so I 3 called and told him to move a bit more, and he just STOPPED, and stood, looking at me. So I hit and guess what I got in trouble for being over agro :D

I had a particularly suspicious experience in The Isle ahwile back. I was a grown rex 1v1 against a giga, after I got the lead and it was clear I'd be the victor the giga stopped as if the player logged out... Except, he wouldn't die no matter how much damage he took, until disappearing all together. Then while resting to heal up a FLYING! dino swoops down a couple times to hit me (unplayable dino), and shortly after that an announcement was made accusing me of exploitation which resulted in a dev killing my rex. I made a complaint detailing the situation but was met with a response that stated something along the lines of "Accusations against staff members will not be tolerated." (Paraphrasing).

they have horrible staff and 99% of actually reports you take the time to make, they do NOTHING about. Funny part is, the admins and staff do jack shit about things actually themselves, and when people like me take time to fill reports, its a slap on the wrist for the person doing it...but when I break a small rule, or other small things "instant kick" But hey, thats what happens when you have children being admins and staff LOL. Biggest plebes on servers to date! Sorry you had to deal with them like I have, they still pull this crap! And they believe anything someone says without even looking into it or asking the other players...the "looking into" they say they are doing is asking other members if they have recordings or saw what happened, and most of the time its going by someone else's word or opinion of what happened. Oh and everyone on that server records and acts like a Karen police, because well they have nothing better to do lol loved this video, because its so accurate how the staff,admins,and server players act..like children

tbh, pesky is a bannable player not always for the stuff he does but what he gets away with. I subbed bcs he does have good content, but let's just say he's not the most fun person to be on a server with haha. he's kind of a "party crasher"
