It’s manipulative and disgusting for them to do, but it isn’t illegal to say so what are they going to do about it except force you to go to the hospital (a potential escalation). Inviting the police to your doorstep to “intervene” in a mental health scenario is the worst possible decision because it only serves to escalate what’s happening. You’re bringing in a stranger with a weapon in response to potential suicidal ideation. In people’s brains in that stressful of a situation, because I’ve been in that situation before, cops=arrest/danger. That’s usually true even of a situation where the person isn’t serious. Instead, tell someone that they trust what’s happening, and maybe try taking them to the hospital. If they’re faking it they’ll do everything they can to stop from staying, in which case you can then leave because they’re a lying manipulative asshole

@@beautifullion69 i dont necessarily think so. Trixie doesn't have such a blunt and dry humor like Katya. Its more theatrical, bubbly, and unapologetic. I think whoever said it genuinely liked them and just expressed it to trixie in a fun and theatrical "trixie" manor and to Katya as sarcastic dark humor ( i.e the wink to show "im joking with you i actually like you") in order to communicate her appreciation for them in terms of their dynamic comedy. She probably knows them from their video and media personalities better than she knows their actually person. Shes in drag too, shes probably responding in 'character' to her fellow drag queens.

Mama, right when Katya was telling that story about the internet technician telling her husband she’d throw herself off a building, an ad came up with super dramatic slow piano music and some canned “there is always hope” bs and I legit thought it was the editors being cute for 10 seconds until I looked back at the screen.
