Historically, the kamikaze hit amidships, I believe just forward of the torpedo launchers and not far above the waterline. The one in the replay hit around the bridge, up in the superstructure. The plane IRL burst one of the boilers, which sent rivets up into the ship's doctor, who survived. The rivets are still on board the ship. The bomb passed out the other side of the ship and exploded, killing the sailors that had ran to the other side of the ship to avoid the kamikaze.

Warships, being spot on with those hitboxes, I see. This is a good compilation of proof that hitboxes in this game are wonky sometimes and need some improvement. Also Dirty Aero and Diurach just wrecking things in his Elbing made my day. Dem plays! Chaos 'just dodging', magnificent energy! And the Jetty.. just wrecking three cruisers casually in his Des Moines. Life goals!

They obviously want people to play the game, so they give the ones who show it off an advantage over the regular players, so it looks like a fun game to play. Then you go to actually play it, and you can NEVER EVER pull off some of the crap these guys get away with. If they follow an NDA about new ships being released...who's to say they don't have a NDA covering the awesome RNG boost they get for being a CC?
