I don’t want to comment about the sultan's personality towards the people of Brunei. Alhamdulillah, I’ve heard about his goodness and that’s amaze me BUT I just feel it is unfair to separate a mother from her child (if it’s TRUE). we never know what happened behaind the door, i could be something that caanot be tolerated to the point that allowing the children to be close to her could give bad influence such immorality according to the royal values or as worst as mental health (I personally found some cases in which the children are being depressed because of the mother) don't judge people only based on the news appear on the surface.

@@Khaila246 i understand that, but it depends on how the mother behaviour. one friend of mine she was banned on meeting her own mom when she was 5 or 6 after her parents devorced until recently (she is 23 now). it's because her mother was proven having bad personalities and had no intention to cgange it. also her mother was proven having adultary with several men.

regardless how you see it fit or unfit we never know what happened inside those palace wall to make she being banned for meeting her children. about my friend case I don't know how the court measure if the mother is not dangerous for children mentally and physically, they did banned her to meet her mother until her age reached 18 but my friend meet her at the age 22 and felt disapointed by her mother's conducts
