Only from this interview i understood the artist's name. I mean who is Ranjani and who is Gayathri and who is elder. sisters should not restrict their contribution only to carnatic but also should explore in to cinema for wider reach. Because audidnce for carnatic is in very closed circle only unlike common people who enjoy and appreciate light music songs Earning is limited in carnatic. That too pakavathiyast gets paid less compared to main artist singer. It could be the reason RG sisters cojld have shifted from violin to vocal. Many too did like that for survival

Glorifying the old and discrediting the present is irrelevant and stupid. Innovation is a continuous process and keeps happening all the time (past, present and future). Saint Thiagaraja innovated (see Sriram Parasuram Lec-Dem). Today's Bharat Sundar, Sriranjani boldly innovate (see Bharat Sangeet Utsav 2022). There are innumerable examples. I hope the interviewer learns to be more refined in his questioning instead of being immature and brash.
