Oil would have been coming out the crankcase breather, its normal when held open at wide throttle for extended period of time

There is a lot of pit bikes on this channel hope it entertains you. I'm not a fan of bigger pit bikes. I like my demon x 170 I've had so much fun on it. Not been impressed with wpb they are more budget. They are all good they just need tlc and will go forever but parts are so cheap and they are easy to maintain. I won't recommend the 190 its constant problems compared to any other I've had

Yes just had a look mate nice riding and some nice terrain there. It does sound nice for sure, loud like the 150r. I've had 2 gear selector arm failures already. But apparently they have fixed it on the new 1s.

Good stuff. Not long got the 160cc first ever bike I've owned or rode! Any tips on maintenance and stuff for a complete newbie? Reccomend essential products etc?

Fairplay 160 is a decent engine. Main things are maintain regularly, chain and keep air filter clean and dry. Change oil between 10 to 15 hrs depending on riding. There is some vids on maintenance on channel that will help understand mate. Just ask if any other questions. Only just seen this message never got a notification

I don't like recommending the 190 at moment as I've had problems but apparently they've fixed it. 170 can be difficult to start if novice, just need a decent technique. My 170 demon has been quality to be fair

Hi mate I’m loving the videos with these 2 bikes especially. I’m looking for a bike to mess about on in the woods and little trails with my mates, I’m looking at the wpb 170 Detroit 2020 and that’s most likely what I’ll go for, is there anything I should know before buying? What modifications would you recommend or do I NEED to do? Any parts that NEED to be upgraded? I’m buying my first car soon and so I’m kinda on a budget, don’t want to buy the bike and it break on me, what do you recommend?

Alright bud you dont need to spend much at all if budget, all I done is spare air filter I got a uni 1. But cheap 1 all good as need to keep clean and dry so good to rotate, one clean 1 ready. Levers are a little flimsy but ok, can buy some cheap spares to carry with you incase or I paid about £40 for some cnc set, I'm often breaking them but these have been ok so far . People spend loads blinging them up but for performance not alot to do. Oh yeh I got pro taper bars also just because my others were overly bent

@@johnmelville6074 I found the bigger wheels a massive improvement for me personally, demon is way better quality than wpb. Thumpstar do the 170 detroit and I notoce people buying. Never had 1 tho. Quite a few vids on here now lol keep you busy for a while.

@@motomachinezuk8786 umm OK just done like the look of the z3 160 pink plastics the yellow 140 looks better but saying that the wpb just look the best by far apart for different gear selecter are they pretty much the same engine wise as I don't wanna get it and struggle for parts as I know stomp parts are every and easy to get and yes mate we definitely need to do this

I’m just over 6ft and I ride a 140 stomp big wheel 90cm seat height, my mates just bought the WPB 140 big wheel for only 800 brand new, he’s like 6,5 and obviously standing up you can’t grip bike with your knees but it’s a pit bike, can’t expect them to be any bigger, also I’m pretty sure it has the same seat height as the 170 or 190, approx 90cm

Professional novices lol, its just about having fun on two wheels mate. Mine has 52.9 now and my mates has 55 now I think. I rate this bike and engine for sure, prefer it more than 190. Solid reliable fast motor. Thanks appreciate the nice feedback buddy

It does drink fuel compared to my other pit bike 170. To tell truth I've now had 2 gear box failures, well the selector arm on small roller. Apparently it is sorted now. So I'm not impressed with reliability. Cheers glad you enjoyed

Hanz sometimes the selector gets jammed, there is a video on KZbin somewhere, if you search for “yx pitbike engine won’t change gear/stuck in gear” you’ll find it, step by step guide and you won’t have to take the engine off the bike which is handy

On bikes like these acceleration and mid range is what you want not balls out top end and bullhead definitely had the edge on that 1 in my eyes he won took you about a 1/4 of a mile to overtake him on a drag strip you still probably would of lost

I agree 190 is a sloth. The rest is called banter, messing about. The beast is not modified compared to Detroit. This illustrates it's more of a road bike with 5 gears and lower revs

@@spambunny123 I dont think fully synthetic is what toy want. You got what you need as long as it 10 40w. It will accelerate better I started in 2nd. Sprocket will help but carb is not best I know a better carb will improve it.
