In the last part of the video, you haven't shown how the instances of Employee and Student class are used.

I think you are missing a point. In the last part of the video, you show how to set the DataContext to a certain class, but you do not mention which instance of the class will be the actual source for the data that you want to show. Is the binding implicitly creating a new instance of that class and then showing its default values?
