How to create a popup light box Gallery in WordPress Block Themes

Yes, the default WordPress Gallery Block comes up just a little short in my humble opinion.
Mainly because there’s no option to have a light box popup that allows you to scroll through “all” the images - you have to close each image and then click on the another to see it in a light box - a pretty pants user experience!
To the rescue comes the awesome "Lightbox for Gallery & Image Block" plugin - this super lightweight plug does what is missing in default WordPress gallery with out any settings or configuration - install and you’ll have a proper light box gallery where you can click or swipe to see the next image!
