This is not RC Hobby, this is art! I had for 6 Years an 1992 Samurai wich i build for Offroad but now i live in another country and dont have the possibility for real offroad anymore (atleast not for some more years) but now im into the RC hobby and i wanted a Samurai/Jimny again, this build ispired me so much, i will get one too and try to build my old real Samurai out of it. We will see how it goes :-) Thank you for sharing :-)

Thank you very much, really glad you like my rebuild and glad I have inspired you! Good luck with your own Samurai build! 😊😊

So cool! You not only fixed the broken wheel, you rebuilt it better than new! I also like the paint job you did on it. I have a 1:6 Jimny from FMS that I want to repaint. Now, after your video, I'm thinking a flat green / black combo. Excellent work!

love the wheel trick! am laughing at you lowering it, I've got something totally mad to upload once i film it. Kind of the same yet not .. anyway great to see you upload again. Truck runs really well too 👍🍺🇬🇧

Thank you for watching, glad you like it! Yes, the truck runs surprisingly well with the stock electronics, wpl has learned their lessons and evolved. I already have some speed-monsters on the shelf so I don´t need to go brushless with this. An advantage with using the stock equipment is that the neighbours, and others, small children can handle it when they come and visit. That´s also fun! 😊😊

Hello! I wonder why WPL had pre-drilled another set of mounting holes, 5mm higher? Very convenient, though. Your mods are well considered; more weight up front with the opening hood, and the clever wheel mod might be more "scale-typical" than you think - we used to whip off our aftermarket white 8-spoke wheels on these, spin them round and bolt them back on back to front, to get a wider stance : ) It lade topping up the air pressure inconvenient!

Hi there! Thanks for watching and I´m sure glad you like it! Yes, the pre-drilled holes were very practical, whatever they are for! And battery in the front is a must for me, as I mostly drive in the garden with steep slopes and ledges. Cutting open a hard plastic bonnet is also a good test of patience, that I like! Fun to read your story about turning the white spoke wheels inside out! I remember that some guys did the same thing with the old type VW wheels, before 1967, in the back. The cars looked very much faster than they were that way! 😊😊

@Georgieframe One of my friends even re-drilled his rims so he didn't have to lie on the ground and grope blindly for the valve every time he wanted to check his tyre pressures. The rest of us just suffered.
WTF Dude, you make the hood open the wrong way, go and see a real jimny.

Hello! Yes, I´m aware of it, sorry to make you disappointed!😊 But I´m also a little lazy and didn´t want to make new bodymounts in the front. This way all the body mounts still work, yet the opening is large enough to take even a big battery. That´s the reason for my cheating...

@@Georgieframe Oh, now I know why. I'm not disappointed now
