What are you using to record the sounds in real time? Is everything connected to some sort of delay effect pedal on max, or is it something computer based?

No computers, delay all the way with an occasional loop

​@@OkHousecat I just found a sampler with in a sampler method of using a stutter and delay effect together. The stutter seems to set the length of the sample depending on what it is set at like 1/8,1/16,note setting etc. Then the delay does the rest and just a few little adjustments on either i was able to get a rather organic sound of hi hats less regimented and quantized. This reminds me of that!!!! And I found the technique like a day or two ago 🎉
