Your videos stand out from the crowd. They are excellent in Sound quality, Video clarity and the content is super-professional. Finally, something that I DO UNDERSTAND regarding this plugin... But does this plugin not work with just the product categories instead of products? I went into the field creation and selected post category is equal to ABC, but when I went to the edit page for the category, the extra fields didn't pop up like yours did with the products? I'm just trying to put a paragraph of unique text underneath each of my product categories...

Hi Paul. Thanks for that. Very useful. Just want to point out one small error. At 7mins 36 you forgot to populate the 'Product Material' and 'Product Fit' fields with the actual data that showed up later on in your front-end page i.e. at 12mins 8 seconds. Just glad I'm able to understand this enough to be able to notice things like this :-) Thanks again for your tutorials. Very very helpful!

In this video, you covered the custom men's category. Which was awesome and gave me some ideas. But let's say I sell suits custom made and I wanted customers to type their sizing. Underarm, waist, shoulder to shoulder, back of the neck for required length. Inside leg... Etc.. How would I create small message box that doesn't make the product page look messy???

Hi there. Really enjoyed the video. On my WordPress site whenever I make a template for a single product, and then try to apply it to a page I only get gray box. I am using Elementor and for all other applications I don't have problems only when I want to display a product with the Elementor Style. The woocommerce pre-built style shows up just fine however. Any advice helps :-)

Hi Paul, Again great and clear video from you. Thank you. I'm using Elementor Pro + ACF. I wish Elementor would add an option to pull theme's own Single product template which you could modify / add something into it (like only a couple of ACF fields.) I've managed to make my own Single product template, but to make it fully responsive is almost impossible, because theme overrides some of styling settings. Any thoughts from you perhaps?

I'm kind of confused on how you got from a template of a cake to one with an ultra skinny fit suit. Does it pull a random template from a product in that category? Also, are you manually filling in the custom fields information , or does that populate from somewhere; I don't think you showed that part. Lastly, will that information show in the product grid on the shop page?

@@WPTuts I followed the tutorial and although a shaded area appears where the field should be, it doesn't show at all on the front end. I tried several times and changed/deleted themes Astra, HelloElementor. I have uninstalled/reinstalled ACF. On googling, it seems others have had trouble and 'lost' their fields after Elementor updates. I have discovered that uninstalling ACF still shows the fields I created on the Elementor text widget. I now wonder if there is a way of getting rid of all traces of ACF and reinstalling again in case I made an error on setting up the original fields? (I have deleted the ACF folder from Plugins).

I was hoping for a further response here. I have gone over the tutorial again and still can't get it to work. I can see the fields on the product page and the field places show up on the preview but without any 'before or after' text. On the website they don't show at all. I'd be happy to know if I've done something wrong. Just wondering if you have tested it on the latest Elementor/WooCommerce versions?

For this example, seems easier to just pull attributes and place them, where you want them, using a hook. Maybe I'm just old school.

You'd still need to use hooks for a custom archive but this is much easier for a designer rather than a programmer...

This was a really simple example just to demonstrate a method. You could use various methods to achieve a similar result, but when you get accustomed to the principle used you can go so much further using ACF with WC and EPro templates. 👍
