Thanks, Paul. Yes, I'd certainly appreciate a more detailed tutorial (or 5 or 6) about CSS Hero. Good tutorials are very hard to find and I think it's an incredible plugin for us non-techies.

I like the interface of CSS Hero, but I am on the SASS bandwagon and therefore went with Microthemer. Having a tool like this is powerful and specially helpful for visual people to apply CSS in a live fashion. One addition: Regular CSS has variables now as well, so preprocessors are not as needed anymore, although they offer more compatibility as they render the variables flat when creating the actual stylesheet.

IMHO, Microthemer is the very best.

Thanks Paul, as usual, another great content. CSSHero definitely requires a dedicated tutorial, at least to understand the logic and the best practices I hope you do it soon. Today I learned that I don't need to separate the CSS asset created by CSSHero and other builder with that upper right tab!, I was always staying away from it because I know WP builders create their own CSS, but having the ability now to work with CSSHero which have way more options than any other builder, alongside with what I design using these tools is amazing, definitely better than the advance tab in Elementor :)

Paul do you generally host the websites for the client that provides a small monthly profit or do you get them to sort their own hosting? Heard mixed things which is generally best in your opinion?

Thanks for the video! How does one target the same element across multiple devices, portrait and landscape, to apply different styles? Can more devices be added?
@WPTuts2 жыл бұрын
You can use the responsive icons across the top of the editor screen to switch viewports and apply your CSS edits there. If you need to add additional breakpoints, you can do that too.

Solid video Paul! A sort of related question...what is the difference between CSS Varibles, CSS ID's and CSS Classes? While I'm writing, just thought, I'd love to see a whole series about CSS - A to Z sort of series, your could become - Paul Css for the series! (Thank you, I'm here all week!😁)
@WPTuts2 жыл бұрын
CSS Classes/ID's are something you apply to a HTML element and then use that class to target your CSS definitions. CSS variables are a variable that hold a value (for example a colour, font size, etc). You can then simply change the value of that variable and it will be applied to any CSS Class or ID that references the variable. Does that make sense? Paul Css - I love it. lol
@tom43982 жыл бұрын
@@WPTuts Yes, that makes perfect sense! Thank you for the explanation, much appreciated.

I like css hero but is the limitation still there that you can only install it on one domain?
@WPTuts2 жыл бұрын
All licenses are the same, but you can easily install CSSHero on a domain, make your edits and then copy all those CSS edits into your themes customiser or add them via Code Snippets and deactivate the plugin and use it on a different domain.
@michaelfoerster33642 жыл бұрын
@@WPTuts But I think thats exactly what did not work last time - it was locked-in to a domain for at least a certain time?
@WPTuts2 жыл бұрын
@@michaelfoerster3364 you can do it, but it looks like they limit this to avoid abuse. I can't really blame them for that though and if you look at Microthemer, I believe that once you've installed it on a domain, it is locked to that domain full stop.
