Yes Kurds Are ethnically Iranian people that is true but never the less Jews have closest match to Kurds over all other groups of people in middle east. Maybe because jews/hebrews also lived in that same region where Kurds lived for over 2000 years or longer going back to our patriarchs and time of our exile. It is hard to say for sure but it seems that going back far enough we may have similar liniages. It hard to say 100% where are people came from exactly before Abraham.

My grandpa would tell me stories of when he was younger and how their village had a sizable Jewish population before the migration to Israel. There are around 400,000 Jewish Kurds in Israel and I would love for some of them to come back to renew the connection between our two peoples.

in Kurdish songs you often hear a lot of "le le le le le" or " lo lo lo lo". Male uses Le for female (when he says you), Female uses Lo for male (when she says you). So we do not only have the word 'you' but we also differentiate what is the gender of the person who is saying it or the gender of person the word is uttered for.
