I know Wargaming the developers of World of Warships got a TON of backlash on steam due to how bad the company was treating their players and the rewards. So i feel like if enough players give them bad enough feedback or reviews online they wont be able to ignore it.

We should be honest to ourselves and call those "rebalances" by what they really are: a scam. They used to do that with a bot at a time, but now they launch enough new content to fill up a full hangar, capitalize on its absurd advantage over the old equipment, then nerf them to complete uselessness in order to monetize the next wave. If it's not a scam I don't think I ever saw one.

this word "fraud" is legally very dangerous and may not be justified by the accepted terms and conditions, but I've been writing for a year now to see if anyone would sue this company. Because what is it different? Who would "buy" a 200hp car and after the first service it's "nerfed" to 120hp because the company has the option in the contract. This is why I never know which bots or weapons to upgrade anymore. There's always a 75 % chance they will get nerfed or crushed should be the word. I learned that from upgrading skadis and talons. Now they are in the junk piles.

Totally agree ! It's true that from a commercial point of view, nerfing and changing what people bought isn't fair, but pixonic always worked like that since around the pantheon bots where they introduced modules, at least that what I remember (really not sure) People buying OP stuff should know that the game is p2w, but shouldn't complain when those things that ruin the experience of f2p are nerfed. I bought some packs here and then when I started my fifth account cause the others got lost, and only bought keys to make it as random as possible (gacha addiction doesn't help xD) So when you know the game I think it's okay to buy one offer or two, but people really shouldn't put hundred or thousand of euros in this game, they inflict that to themselves in a way. I'm just really angry for the seraph and angler, I'm not playing them but they were fun to fight

Yeah, I do something like that since I'm always after robots and weapons that look realistic/serious/military-like, and that tends to be old things like Natasha and Tempest or sometimes new ones like Mars and Hammer. Now of course the Mars gets nerfed, and indeed I had suggested a nerf myself despite owning it, but what I wanted was that enemy bots should be able to step on the turret and destroy it, and that there should be a passive module to prevent teleportation in a radius (to prevent the turret from returning after it's empty, and also upset Scorpions of course).

Bro reducing the speed you get when using the anglers ability basically just reduces it to a free phaseshift module, you aren't gonna catch up with most robots like you could any more.

Right, what they should do is make Quantum Radar partially bypass Blind effect, allowing you to aim at only the 1 nearest enemy. Then they should undo the previous nerf to the speed bonus during ability.

Watch them nerf the Shell because people are starting to use it. They nerf everything that is popular. Any time players find a counter to something or something old that works in the current meta, they nerf it. Hate this game. I honestly want to see pixonic fail. I’m sorry I don’t mean to be toxic. And Reaper doesn't need their usual lazy number nerfs. No, what it needs is an actual inherent disadvantage, like phase shift over beacons, so that all future weapons with "Defense Breach" are balanced in that aspect as well. One simple potential disadvantage that comes to mind: while Shieldbreaker is active, the "Defense Breach" property is disrupted, and shuts down.

i actually think they nerfed mars because it was too strong in the lower leagues. like in diamond league literally everyone had mars and turret was the most annoying thing ever and the aegis shield and increase speed made it a task to take down mars especially when they had 600m on you aka had fainters

First of all, they give the Mars away. They could be giving away other robots, but they choose Mars. That's the first red flag. Then, the speed gain from the ability is an issue. They should stop the "gains X km/h" thing and go back to "gains a X% speed increase", so that the speed gain scales up with the level. In lower leagues the turret is too strong because robots tend to be slow, right? They could create a "Reflector unit" module already, so that any robot can just activate it and let the Mars feel 100% of its own dumb turret. Finally, nerf the base speed of the Mars and voila, balance. Alternatively, for a more creative nerf, Mars' shield only regenerates when the turret is away.

The mars rebalance seems slightly ok, personally speaking, in lower leagues, pay 2 win players running mars with an unkillable setup where you can barely scratch its HP (not to mention the aegis) makes the game unbalanced imo

But that's only in the lower leagues. I myself play in the lower leagues and, seeing that p2w players have their Mars often above level 10, while all the other robots in the battle are lvl 9 at most, and often lower-tier robots, I realized Mars wasn't OP, it's just that it tends to be used at higher level and Pixonic is giving it away. I did suggest it should be possible for a big bot like Leo to step on the turret and make it explode, dealing the damage it would have dealt with the remaining rockets, but without grey damage. Then the Mars would no longer have a turret. Also, they could change the "gains 25 km/h" and instead return to the old way of percentages, so that it becomes "gains a 50% speed increase" for example. That way the speed scales linearly with the level of the Mars.

Sorry to hear that ! I personally don't like playing them, but those two were the one that really didn't need a change, as they were killable. Lynx, mars and nether on the other hand were so annoying to deal with, I understand the changes although a bit too harsh. We will have to wait for two or three month before they release another rebalance, hoping they buff angler and seraph to a good level !

@@kiaracuffie7241 The waiting rates to get in a game has increased more than 20 seconds in beacon rush. Used to be around ~7 seconds to get into a match in 2021-mid 2022. Now it’s on average 30~ seconds. The thing is, this will provoke the death of this game. This very update. It’s now the 3rd most detrimental nerf of all time. 1st being the hawk nerf/or skadi, hel, and sneir. 2nd being the rust rockets. 3rd being this.

I see around 5 per day. If they’re this desperate then it means they need to get the amount of players back up to where it used to be. I’ve never saw this many WR ads in any year since its release. They only started this year which connects to the longer waiting time. They both connect to each other.

Just face the facts, WR isn’t lasting another 3 years and that’s the truth. I hate to say it as I began my WR journey in 2016 but the creators themselves are going to face consequences for such mindless “rebalances” and new additions to the game (robots, currency, weapons, motherships, drones). WR will DIE.

The crashes, hackers, and balance adjustments were manageable for me. However, the recent changes to boosters, power cells, and the anticipated drones nerf have caused the game to collapse. This has left free-to-play and low-spending players frustrated with no option but to quit. It's no wonder many players are leaving the game under these circumstances. The developers need to address these issues promptly to restore the game's stability and retain player engagement.

The only things wrong about power cells is that they are still needed in custom games and that one can use gold in their place. Other than that, I wish they would monetize power cells better instead of relying so much on their cycle of disgusting "balance adjustments".

Dude seraph became the new fafnir, ao jun, and hawk. This robot was already balanced. Pixo is so stupid at making balancing decisions. Imo seraph has the worst nerf here. Also glory nerf was way too harsh it's worse than thunder now. Glory should've gotten 10% less damage.

All the nerfs went overboard .Mars Fainter shouldn't be touched Seraph was pretty balanced after the previous nerfs .The force field nerfs and nerf to glory should be lighter like 20 % nerf to forcefield and particles to 25 .The laser weapons damage should be reduced by around 15 % because now they don't do any damage .The Nerf to Harpoon weapons was also too much. I think 1 sec should have been fine Overall, this nerf was just to shift the meta to newer bots classic pixonic

they were making some robots against the Titans. this is hawk, seraf, fafnir. but right now they can't do anything against the Titans. then why did they have to be killed? to make a new version, but 500 times more expensive?

The reaper nerf only solved part of the problem, the problem is that you can get one shotted across the entire map in a skyros in ball form. Why wasn't the damage nerfed? I honestly don't think the reload time nerf is going to be enough.

I don't think it needed a reload Nerf. Just decreasing the damage and increasing the shot intervals would've been fine.

Reaper actually doesn't need their usual lazy number nerfs. No, what it needs is an actual inherent disadvantage, like phase shift over beacons, so that all future weapons with "Defense Breach" are balanced in that aspect as well. One simple potential disadvantage that comes to mind: while Shieldbreaker is active, the "Defense Breach" property is disrupted, and shuts down.

Thank you for all the work you put into this research and video. Sadly, War Robots has become trashy. Bad business tactics ruining gamers experience and devaluating what they paid for :(. Basically, I'm with you regarding your thesis and I've been writing this for months, and the whole WR/Pixonic system is sick and for rich or stupid...... But if I have to fight Mars with my old bots, at least his turret ability should have a time limit. She's just crazy. I always wonder how much longer it can shoot...... and with your video you are actually contradicting yourself on a lot of things...unless you played against gold or silver players. for my hangar world (3x Typhon/Mace/Harzard/Havoc, Kephri/Quarker, Scorpion/Havoc - all MK2/12) I am very happy about these nerfs, and I think you would feel the same about my hangar. Without energy cells I have no chance and the function energy/moduls went from 28 gold to 500!!!! gold increased. What should be changed in any case are the drone abilities. Especially Kestrel. It can't be that I end up with 1000t HPs with a bot with 250t HPs......... The 2 nerf of the Northlight corresponds exactly to your thesis again. More miserable news about WR, appearing now on a more regular weekly basis! Currencies are killing the game. Rebalances are killing the game New op bots and weapons are killing the game Hackers Team balancing Drone re works P2W players When we discuss meta we should consider a ‘lower meta’ of bots that lead players up through expert and master leagues. Currently I have a Nether, Mars and Seraph in my hanger they are the quarterbacks of the team. My other 2 bots change around depending on time of day and the quality of players I face. Late GMT is when the whales come out with the lynx’s, Ophions, Rooks - the top meta stuff. This is when I might drop in a Angler shotgun build or a Ravana sonic build (best I’ve got) for example just to be slightly competitive. This rebalance kills all of it. It’s a whales game out there now and the team balancing aspect doesn’t work effectively enough to counter this. Haven’t got to the booster and currency bits yet! Playing without boosters atm as I refuse to buy them, gold in the old days I would buy on occasion as there was multiple uses for it pilots/upgrades/boosters but now it’s a big no. Already I’m getting destroyed faster and down from 2-4 million damage in match to under a million. Microchips -what bs -I have upgraded one bot to level 4 since this was introduced. Memorium, even with the initial giveaway and stupid task offers is the same as the microchips- barely enough to upgrade what I have. Been playing for years, used to enjoy it but now the developers are totally ripping us off. Thanks dude for being so open on your vid. I really hope the main YTs show some backbone and start to explore other games Manni and Adrian are already making subtle moves although I don’t think subtlety cuts it here YTs are the only real weapon the player base has against Pixonic.

Most of these nerfs don’t surprise me anymore after the rust rockets nerf. What pissed me off most was last time right before the rust rockets nerf I leveled 7 light rust rockets and 2 heavy from scratch to mk2 lvl 12, took me quite a lot of time and money. Then they freaking nerfed it, such a sack of smelly feces. This is borderline illegal. Straight up false marketing. Anyway from then on I’m very cautious with what I buy and level. Haven’t bought a single microchip or memorium. Might not be Pix’s decision, I bet it’s Mygames and their money mongering management

I think it's pretty clear why this game is in a really bad state right now: 1. Ridiculous rebalances like this and ridiculously overpowered robots and weapons at launch to get money from the scheme they are running 2. Little to no interest from the devs to the playerbase, it's honestly astonishing how pixonic continues to ignore the majority of the audience of this game and only listens to the minority of the players that want this to keep happening. There are many ways they can make this game turn around and also profit from it, one thing manni suggested is the skin system where they can spend money on it for cosmetic purposes and get no real advantage and we've seen this work on many games such as call of duty mobile and such. They can add cosmetics to get their money as well as ads can be their way of income. I may have forgotten some but there are many ways of getting profit without killing the game and pixonic just doesn't listen. With the nerfed robots and weapons we have here, it's pretty safe to say that they indirectly buffed the next meta. Being ophion with the explosive weapons as they are the only weapons viable after these nerfs, crisis reaper, not that bad of a nerf but they are still overpowered and their combo works really well together. Last but not least, titans. These are the only things that are going to be running around and they are saying there should be "diverse" robots on the battlefield and yet here we are, they kill every robot without a second thought or listening to the feedback from the players. To say if this is a game is a low-ball and now it should be considered as a money laundering scheme similar to Russian roulette. Don't get me wrong, this game was still doing excellent like 4-5 years ago but they have gone downhill since then. It was a huge part of my life and I'm sure it is for others and it's saddening to see the game go this way. At its current state. I'm sure there is no turning back after this, they have killed the game completely.

I would undo all the Mars nerfs so far, and then change the speed gain it gets from the ability to 50%, make it possible to disable the turret if you step on it, and make the shield stop regenerating while the turret is away. Maybe also create a Reflector module. Oh, and fix the teleporting turret bug.

Tbh I'm fine with the harpoon weapons nerfed with the increased Aegis. I run those weapons on my Skyros. Since I use the Skyros with harpoons. I can capture beacons more effectively. I don't get out of the ball form a lot. If in a 1v1 I will if weak robots. Also. I think players will run the female pilot for lynx instead of the cowboy. Better brawling tbh.
