It kinda still is in terms of ranged weapon if you put Basil pilot with appropriate pilot skills. Remember the damage increases by 30% on bastion mode. I still slay everyday with my mk2 raijin tempest. Hoping to get Behemoth soon and 4 tempest hehe 💯

Well, if you are meleeing someone, avenger family of weapons has the highest mag damage of any normal weapon in the game. Problem is they unload very slowly and reload slowly. I would say they are balanced. Especially if used correctly, I.e. fenrir with punisher Ts and an avenger

Interesting. I always thought avenger did more damage as the tempest would run out of amo sooner. Now if u had 2 x LEO 1 with avenger and punishes and 1 with tempest and molots. Would the results be the same. That being molots better than punishers in most cases

I would have uses Shredders instead of Punishers. The cycles don't add up anyways, if you use the pilot skill giving you faster accelerated mode on Avengers.

Both gun system are really good. But I prefer avenger for medium range combat and tempest for long range combat. 😸

Try to compare Hawk with the old weapon (Avenger Punisher) with the new weapon (Nucleon + Quarker). Check how it changes the power of the built-in weapons

An important factor is that the cost to upgrade Avenger to level 12 is similar to upgrading Tempest to only level 9 or 10. So the affective range for Tempest is 800 to 350, or is it? How does Tempest compare to longer range weapons? Does Dragoon out damage it in range 600 to 400? Does Calamity out damages Tempest under 400 range? Does Flux both *outranges* and deal more damage than Tempest above 600m range? Should Tempest just get deleted? (Yes pixonic please refund me for my 4 Tempests it was a mistake) Or should it just get buffed?
