For the price gap that they have, id honestly go for the regular, dragon, or composite calamity. If not for that stupid lock on system, id pick them with no hesitation. Amazing video as always Aygir 👏

@@roki8607 if you don't mind sacrificing a pilot skill slot for the guidance expert skill for faster lock on, I'd say go for it. They can be fun to play around with. If you don't want to sacrifice a slot for the pilot skill though, I totally understand and would go for a different weapon. Also depends on what robot your going to put them on.

@@roki8607 it can be depending on your league ranking. In the higher ranks, people run stuff like Seeker drone and Quantum Sensor so they can just see through your stealth, but you don't see that as much in the lower ranks so that build could work

@@roki8607 that build is actually very solid. The Eldrich Blight and Decay received a buff a while back to their damage and the Angler, while yes it has received some nerfs, is actually still pretty good. I'd say that build can work a lot more than the Orochi with the Dragon Calamity. Plus the Blight and Decay can be used more universal on other robots and builds. Plus they hold their worth a lot more than the Calamity do

@@roki8607 I'm more prone to say cruel Angler because of the ability. The blitz ability isn't bad, but once your opponents drop stronger robots and titans in, the blitz get kinda smoked, where as the Angler has the ability to completely mitigate any damage taken and can blind the opponent if you can get close enough, or you can use it to escape

Interesting how the Composite Calamity has a higher damage per burst than the Ultimate version. Even in their Ultimate form though I find Calamities a little underwhelming. They just end up being outperformed by other weapons at every range, and because of that I think they need a buff. Great comparison as always!

@@roki8607 No, due to the abundance of stealth in the current meta you would spend 75% of the time unable to fire. Additionally, at the range when they do decent damage there are weapons that far outperform them.

The damage of composite calamity isn't too far behind the ultimate version but overall the extra damage and 3 second reload time make it significantly better. The 3 second reload especially.

You are introducing yourself as a bad controller What in hell does ultimate weapons suck? Just think'bout shocktrains, 1 shot makes you instantly kill your enemy even with train actions and low reload time. With unlimited ammo barrier bulgasari, you be similar with one having a cheat program

6 months into this game and I am questioning my sanity for even thinking it would grow on me. They are just making it worse with a cheat shield race where normal players can't even compete. They have made reflect shields (luchador, minos, siren), lockdown shield (exclusive to path finder) and now a vampire shield (to be exclusive to raptor) so broken you can no longer fire at them or get torn to shreds out of the blue. These shields are absolutely cheats because something this powerful should not exist in a game that is about firefight and no shield break mod or skill (crisis) is capable of bypassing these "shield" which makes them essentially "not shield" shields
