@@simonediliberto4314 well, Twinsanity glitches are way harder to do than normal gameplay tbf so it's actually more impressive lol. I tried it myself a while ago, those glitches were fucking insane. There's that one skip at the Iceberg Lab that's literally pixel perfect, you have to inch your way to a very specific point then correctly perform the skip.

It's funny that 100 hours can be done in 2-3 weeks for some games (or less if all you do is playing the game) but for this game a full year feels necessary, it's incredibly frustrating, you need a ton of breaks from it, very long breaks sometimes.

This is insane. I purchased this game for my 5 year old son recently as this was a game i played in my childhood. I was really chuffed that i was able to complete the game (not every gem, just finish the levels) to show him. But this just blows my mind that someone can do all gems and at this speed in one run. I like to think this is how Crash would go through the levels if he were real. That would explain why Cortex is always so frustrated: a lot of schemes dismantled in 6 hours and 38 minutes by a spinning marsupial on drugs.

I platinumd the n-sane trilogy. But this one... shit ! I've finally completed all the insane relics + inverse. I tried the trials, and i officially abandoned the platinum. Don't know if it is the controller's fault or not (dualsense), but i simply can't get good enough at the triple spin and the dash spin. I tried the first level multiple times... but no way. Even if now i know all the levels quite well, if i can't even get sub 53 seconds on the first level, what are the other levels going to be, knowing they are much harder, and we need to have a Ferrari, to beat the required time.... Pressing R1 - square - R1 - square - R1 - square thousands of times simply feel weird. Maybe i could try swapping the buttons and using, eg : L1 + R1 , instead of R1 + square Too bad. Many will probably say that the perfect relics are way way harder, and that, i already completed it, and the trials should be much much easier, compared to the insane relics... I wonder what would be your advices, to master these fukin dash and triple spins. While playing the nsane trilogy, especially some levels like the bridge, sunset, etc, 3 ds4 controllers were totally destroyed against the walls and floor, and i was bitting my own hands, because of all the rage. Don't want it to restart :) On the other, this speedrun is just insane. If people don't know this game, and watch this video, many will think the video was sped up, at 200 or 300%. But no, this really is real-time, 100% natural speed ! Everything goes so fast, if we move our eyes from the screen, just a few seconds, when we watch it again, the level is already finished. Absolute insanity. Congrats !

@@SPZ909 i officially gave up. I managed to relatively master the triple spin, and was able to reach the jelly jet level. But after probably 500 attempts during 4 or 5 days, at least 3-4 hours each, i said fk it, and uninstalled the game. The jelly jet trial is so hard-core. 53 seconds sound a lot, but in reality, no. I've seen guys dig it in 20 seconds. Even 8 seconds (wr). In the jet area, Hundreds of times, the enemies tried to grab me with their bombs... bam, here goes 1 mask... bam, here goes the second mask... bam, no more marks... It was driving me crazy. Maybe it was bad luck, or bad rng, but those bastards with the bombs always managed to come in my direction, not blow up against the big bombs, and hit me. You need at least 1 or 2 masks, to speed through all the bombs and crap, at the end of the level, break all those 2 and 3 second crates... and voila. Too bad. All activision had to do was giving 4 or 5 little extra seconds to finish each level with platinum. On the other crash games, we had magic boots to run, etc. In crash 4, the trials must be done flawlessly...and we need to use the dash or triple spin all the time. And even then, we will complete a trial at say, 1"23, and the limit was 1.24. It's just too infuriating. If we need to spend 10 or 20 hours on a level, and replay it 500 times, while the gamer is quite good and platinumd all the other crash games, there's a problem somewhere.

While technically yes it would be faster (by around 15 seconds) it's also personal preference where i also run the All Clear Gems category with Cortex at the end, so my muscle memory is more leaned towards movement without triple spin. Also in my opinion, i don't think 15 seconds is worth risking because it's very easy to mess up your movement with triple spin and just a single death means you have to restart the entire level, losing you several minutes

I refused to try and platinum this game when it first came out after I saw the difficulty and amount of hours it took. I wasn’t a trophy hunter but had just started gaining interest in platinums. All these years later, I started two weeks ago on a new save to platinum it. I spent 4 days trying to get the perfect relic for Toxic Tunnels. It drove me up a fucking wall. That gem path after getting all 4 colored gems can go straight to hell. After the 3rd day, I was getting through it consistently but I’d always die right near the end. I finally beat it and got the perfect relic and went to do the N. Verted version and got it first try.. lol. I finally beat the game. I’ve got the final two Cortex levels to beat and get the perfect relic for. Then it’s on to flashback tapes which I’ve beaten all them on an old save file before. Not too hard. Then the time trials. I tried to play the normal level and get the perfect relic on it, then immediately play the N. Verted versions so the level was fresh in my mind and it helped so much. Plus it’s nice to be able to die 3 times on the N. Verted levels since you only need a perfect relic on one version or the other. I’ve been a gamer for over 20 years and this game has no right to be this difficult for a platformer. lol.
