It is a good question, i am doing it because the rules of this category allow it. One could say that it isn't a glitch because you're just in a place where the princes AI can't detect you. In my opinion it shouldn't be allowed but it is what it is

hey I'm looking to get into speedrunning this game and I can't find any information online about this after like an hour looking, but at 13:51 when entering farron keep, there's a jump you do to skip the slow af ladder that I've never seen before. I tested it out a little and was having trouble with consistency. Do you have any tips about this? Congrats on wr

discord.gg/6v5Z63zEQv join the souls speedrun discord for info/asking questions. For the skip, you should probably do the dagger weapon art just before you hit the ground. I'm doing it a different way with a roll, but it requires specific binds and most people find it harder

yeah, very doable. Also, there's a new strat to drop down to gravetender that saves about 30s that i didn't do in this run.

I Think the Ds3 Glitchless speedrun Definition is no major glitches (skip Bosses) but minor glitches that Save Running time are okay. But that is only what I found out by Google so it may Not be True 😅

what does spamming the sword in your inventory do?

It regenerates health, Anri's Straight Sword heals 1 health per second while it's equipped, but the first health restored ticks instantly the moment it's equipped, therefore you can quickly unequip and reequip the weapon to regenerate your health faster.

I think the way he gets past the adjudicators in The Ringed City definitely counts as cheating. Backing out cause a door animation is 3 seconds longer than you can handle is one thing, but the way he gets past those adjudicators is very clearly cheating the game. That said, it's truly MESSED UP what he did to Midir though!!!

Even the creator of this video mentioned it in one of the replies in the comment section here. Don't get the logic in what is a glitch and what isn't, but it is what it is ig. 🤷‍♂️
