I was thinking of getting into these types of speedruns, is there a save you use so you get unlocks at specific points to limit the pool of items and unlock for garenteed drop?

yea I went through the effort of making a mostly optimal save for speedrunning, it includes essentially the removal of the two worst layouts for each stage and has a smaller scroll pool. the file is available on speedrun.com under the resources tab, there's a link to the leaderboards in the description have fun speedrunning :)
