Rico, I feel like everybody counting D-Fo out, forgetting that D-Fo was the top graded safety the 1st few weeks of his 2nd season when Kam was injured, then him and Kam were both top 5 graded safeties the 1st 12 weeks of the season before he got banged up. toward the end of the season. He's just had injuries, and I love Butler, but he's never shown half in game that Dfo did in year 2.

Designated starters only matter to beat writers and fans. By now, DQ and Witt Jr. have likely exhausted all ways of telling us, guys will get playing time situationally, and for us to not look at 'starters' as we've been accustomed to. IMO, in the end, Dyami and Luke may have nearly the same # of mins playing time.

Don't forget, Coach Whitt said there's no such thing as starters in the defense. They're gonna rotate so much that this depth chart is about as solid as quicksand! My hope is that the offense will be just as fluid and reactive so that nobody can get a bead on what they're gonna do on any given Sunday!

I thought Quinn was going to bring out the best in players. Jahan can be a scoring machine. I’m not buying the Luke hype. I think he was a later round developmental receiver. I’m not buying the AP hype at all. He completely missed on Trey Lance. I think Jayden Daniels could develop into a damn good QB. But he needs an offensive line and some time. They are going to ruin Jayden’s career. I’m happy for Jahan.

Coleman, after zero preseason snaps in games or joint practices, is the suprise starter to me. I hope he proves worthy of the faith they are putting into him. McCaffrey is the other surprise, but I'm inclined to agree with your analysis that this might be meaningless, and WR 2 thru 5 will work themselves out as the season progresses.

If Tampa thinks Luke is starting, or that Peters and Quinn are playing head games, they might prepare for one scenario, then get something totally different. Because the "first team" on both sides of the ball haven't played together in a game, Tampa really only can make an educated guess as to what Washington is gonna do. I'm of the opinion that Peters and Quinn are just fucking with Tampa's heads, trying to make preparation for the game even more of a guessing game than it already is. Can't wait 'til Sunday!

Adam Peters and DQ, really played with everyone. This team is a lot better than they let on. They showed absolutely nothing this whole offseason. That’s the biggest upside they have going into the season. I truly believe it’s gonna be alot better season than people expect.

What game tape made you like Percy Butler more than Darrick Forrest? I just haven't seen it. Also, Chinn and Forrest, though big bodied, both play better in the free safety position. Don't force them down low when they do so well controlling the skies up high.

They’ve been hiding Luke out from the media. They been designing a role for him all along not showing the plan how they’re gonna use him. From what I’ve seen Luke has made plays when they threw him the ball. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has an immediate impact

We'd see Luke playing with the second and third teams on fan day yet he's starting at the Z (which I called on this channel off rip months ago. Just sayin).
