Yes, it needs to be done for every mode seperately. The only exception is URL for career mode, because of a bug it will use circuit settings for those.

Can’t wait to either save up for a Desktop to run this on PCSX2 or buy another replacement laser and copy of this game to fix my PS2 Slim and play it lol. This was so excellent! Tried giving Carbon a shot in Speedrunning and tried to practice non-categories (like Vauxhall Monaro/SL65 AMG/GT500/No Performance Upgrades %) to see if I can “get it”…then looked into the NFS games further by watching Vids, studying Splits, and practicing my drifts, but I guess I just don’t have that “gift” to do this kind of thing. However, I have all the respect in the world for anyone who can in any game! Is this just the game you landed on being the best at or do you just love it that much more than the rest that you chose to perfect it?

Yes, Toyota Corolla is overall the best car in this game due to its superior handling and acceleration. this tuning setting is pretty good for regular career playthroughs as well, however its not 100% the best for every track. When setting the car up; keep in mind to not buy differentials and 6 gear transmission components as it kills acceleration for some reason. (most likely an oversight/bug in the game)
