A Halo CE IL with a new trick that ADDS combat back into the run???? Biggest surprise this Christmas that's for sure. The sound you hear for the teleport is a metronome in order to time the very precise jump and right movements. The metronome does NOT interface with MCC in anyway so it is legal. It is the same metronome used in Pokemon speedruns.

@@exelution1772 Considering I would of expected physics to just fling him off the shield, haha. But how games work under the hood is its all 1's and 0's. Specifically player location. If somehow the game looses the player (or overflows the max count) the "math" resets to 0. So where he ended up is 0 and thankfully solid ground. Anything above him is +0.1, and below are -0.1. Other idea, and not likely here, is the game respawn system couldnt find his place (but would take him dying).

p sure the checkpoint he triggers but confusing the engine by being in the shield is one of the only hard checkpoints for the level, with other checkpoints being triggered from full clearing enemy squads, the game doesnt know where to put him so they put him at next checkpoint bc player = alive

He landed and started killing enemies, I immediately was thinking "Jesus christ what was found in this starting area to end the mission?" knowing those enemies had no impact on the mission progress. The second he walked over to the shield to bump I started wondering how the fuck it bumps to the end, never knew that Shield Bumps outright can bypass barriers in any direction, I assumed it was limited to vertical speeds skipping walls or barriers. Actually insane.

Stopping the cutscene trigger from activating the cutscene by making the game think I'm unsafe by putting projectiles in the air. Normally in runs without this teleport, we shoot while entering it from above to stop the cutscene from starting.

Definitely is. Instead of doing the triple nade stack after the 6 nade stack, u can stick yourself twice and hope you get enough height to make it all the way to the top. Going to try to grind that out eventually.
