I just broke broke one in same hole on my 2018 wr250r. Used a torque wrench and thought I had it set close to spec(7.2ft lbs) I used a file and got the jagged edges of the broken bolt ground flat so I could drill through the center of the bolt. Get the longer easy outs so you can get deeper in the bolt. Remember, easy outs are brittle, so drill as big as you can without drilling into the threads and use a bigger easy out. The bolts are small anyway so I know it's not the easiest thing to do. Yep, sucks.

Just snapped the larger of the two bolts then snapped my drillbit trying to extract it 😂😂😂 so now I have a whole new oil filter engine cover on the way lmao. The sound of that snap then the loose bolt will always haunt me.

I did the same thing on my Honda crf250r and it’s a long bolt that Holden’s the 2 cases together and it snapped off all the way in the back and now leaks a ton of oil between cases
