The reason for parallel steering rods,is that on cornering at high(racing speed),ceates a higher slip angle on the outer(loaded)wheel,which requires a bigger than usual scrub radius,therefor,negting the need for Ackermann angled steering rods.Usually termed as Anti-Ackermann
