I really like this reworked kit! It actually makes Wraith an ADC, compared the the OG (and Overprime) versions where he's a weird hybrid between Caster, ADC and Support. Also making him scale with physical items let's you actually buy items that enhance his abilities without feeling like you hit like a wet noodle with auto attacks unless you buy the special "magic damage on hit" items.

I honestly would've been fine with magical on-hit. Would be the first APC and that would let you benefit from the rewards of mana and CDR items which makes that Q rapid fire. Lol

Love how the nanite grenade and snipe pair really well with his play-style. Hopefully the invis doesn’t make him to overwhelming to play against but I’ll enjoy him that’s forsure!

This is actually a pretty neat rework. As someone who played Wraith midlane a lot, I truly disliked it when they started making him an ADC. His supportive abilities fell to the wayside; he became less strategic and more of a spam bot, imo (honestly, v42 did that to a lot of heroes). I appreciate rearranging his kit to be more focused on being self reliant, yet careful and strategic for the sake of maximum damage output and consistency. I can see myself enjoying him a lot this way. Also THANK YOU for fixing his rewind! His kill securing is more justified and now he won't be able to save enemies from his own teammates.

I love the changes comparing them to the original character from OG Paragon. Great work to everyone at the Pred team. Not sure if the ult will be a little underwhelming, but maybe because his abilities are so much better now, a weaker ult might make more sense. I can't wait to try him out

@@AZ-ts1qy Problem with his old kit was that he was trash soloQ, god tier proplay/with communication. Looking at league of legends we can see why thats unhealthy design. I love his scout Identity, but the solo q environment doesn't promote tattle tale scouter archetypes. Just cause you give your team vision and stealth doesn't mean they'll follow up on it and so then it's effectively a 4v5 cause you're useless to them technically. I remember firing autos. He used his invis, I was still autoing, boom have the team out of stealth. Ult wasted. His rewind was also just a nuts ability.

Whoooaaa this rework looks amazing, a whole new identity for Wraith, he was a little too sloppy back in the days of OG Paragon and in OP, the only thing is that the invisible ability reset seems a little too overpowered, maybe a cooldown reduction on takedown would be better balanced imo. But I like his new kit a lot , he deserves it.

I like the reqorw but as always, it doesn't have toooo many things? * The snipe have a reset on kills * the invisibility have a reset in kills * The snipe have a reset if you combine it with the Q * The invisibility gives you raw penetration * The Q hit in area so you can reset the snipe several times in a row And that over his normal kit of having a long range snipe that transpasses walls, a invisibility that gives movement speed a Q that doest damage and gives vision of the enemies, the rewind, and the special wards I lite it and thisnis the type of character that i like to play, but it seems that his kit is too overloaded with things. If he really needs to do a lot of resets to be able to work and ifnhe doesn't do it he is trash, then is ok, you added complexity to the character. If he can work without taking orofit of doing 1000 resets and using all the tools available, then thisn is bad

Moving Back it Up to his ult is a bit underwhelming I think. Especially with that CD. Maybe making the enemy take increased damage for a short duration after would help? Or maybe just making Knock Knock do increased damage after his ult?

Though I absolutely love Wraith is in the game, this rework practically made it where he can ONLY adc now. The main reason I loved wraith was because he could flex into 4 different roles. His versatility was insane but now it seems like he can't do any of this anymore. Still excited to play him but just bummed a bit.

Can't know that for sure until he is out. Seems like he can still play mid just like other carries if you know your matchups and how to play, it's a free farm lane where you get to roam a ton and his kit promotes roaming, support looks fine if you build hybrid damage and probably cdr since you can harass the enemy from outside of their range and have better detection of ganks through walls, plus outright deny a gank with your ult. Offlane would be rough, though it's rough for every carry/mage if the jungler knows they have free ganks, all offmeta offlane picks should end in a loss at the moment.

Does the ultimate count as a channeled ability? If so, can you stun him out of it, or at least cleanse it? If not, it looks like it will be very problematic and frustrating to play against.

They already made it an ultimate, his invisibility is a problem, at least before he could make his allies invisible, he used to be a team player.

@AZ-ts1qy Sure, but you can use an ultimate ability every minute or two. Invisibility is a problem that can be addressed by buffing wards. My concern is that, particularly late game, you can simply rewind a carry/mage and eviscerate them, effectively making Wraith a necessary pick for competitive play. You only need to do it once or twice late game to win, so having it be an ultimate ability doesn't change much. I think you should be able to stun him out of it and cleanse it since it is also a guaranteed lock-on ability. Otherwise, it's very oppressive and will likely feel unfair as there would be nothing you can do to stop/prevent it.

You want people to have easy access to the characters, so they will like them and buy skins. Right now, the only reason to play the game is Wraith himself. If I can't get the character easily, then I won't bother. HUGE PROBLEM.

@@TsDwelling every MOBA and most hero based games, have it to where you need to either grind for the hero or buy the hero. Each level you get with the hero, makes him cheaper to buy. You realistically can't expect every hero to be free. Wraith will be playable on free rotation when he releases. So you can play the game, grind out his levels, buy him, or not play at all. Honestly it's not a problem, I had to unlock Serath and I did that through games. Also, it's not like you would get wraith every game. If you are confused about unlocks, just read the blog post. Hope this helps.

Because Invisibility in group would only work in high-tier games or with a full team comp. I would be a shit-show in lower ranks. If they just made rewind a grenade that could hit multiple people it would be a much better kit. More skill-dependent, more versatile and more fun

Because predecessor doesn't like offmeta as much as paragon, offmeta is very easy to punish in this game which helps with balance, it's also just not fun to play against when you try to play something traditional. Characters can actually feel powerful in this game without being broken, that's thanks to them being very good at specific things instead of good at everything. Team invis was completely broken and unfun to play against, as was being on the receiving end of the strongest CC in the game outside of deaths, solo invis would be terrible as an ult and broken CC should be an ult, it was the logical decision that lets him maintain his original kit identity.
