I find it's usually way better to level up vampiric spirit to level 3, then max mortal strike. That's because with a low level crit, you don't kill creeps fast enough to spawn a 5-6 of skeletons on cool down. And you don't really need the extra 2 skeletons from max vampiric spirit

Im in, New Dota2 player here. THis is the first video on the content that I wanted that got RIGHT into the shit I wanted to hear, that isn't 55minuts long, and the information is clean and to the point.. ALSO you have gameplay in the background that shows us Visually what we are talking about verbally. THIS GOES A LONG WAY For guys that learn visually luike I do. THanks for the good content, new SUB here.. Ill be around cause while I know I'm the LAST person on earth to Discorver Dota2, I played a few hundred hours of SMITE and League of Legends, so I'm not totally new to the genrea. I figured its high time I got over to the game with the highest skill cap that started it all.

If you've followed the community from the sidelines, or done a bit of research - Grubby, a former Starcraft/WC3 Pro is practically an ambassador of getting good at a MobA such as DotA later in life. Here's hoping you stick with it and find a permanent footing filled with enjoyment with DotA 2 💪

Phase boots definitely. Mortal strike cooldown means hitting faster doesnt get you as much value as simply chasing and waiting for mortal strike before your next auto. Even on farm lanes phase boots is still useful for when you need to fight. You will almost always force a disable on you because of your ability to walk up

Exactly. The added movement pre-blink is really nice, not to mention the chainmail that comes as part of the component for phase-boots which adds to your tankiness, which is already pretty damn high courtesy of your lifesteal.

Glad to hear it! He's extremely well rounded this patch in general, and his ability to come back into losing games means that if you lose lane, it's not all doom and gloom either - you're such a menace once you have 1 tempo item / blink dagger.

Please stop encouraging people to play practically hard carry from the offlane. 90% of the archon players afk farm on this guy...gotta get that sweet sweet radience...who cares if the actual carry is suffering hard. If you have to play Wk offlane, at least build him as an actual offlaner. Blademail is great, blink is a no-brainer, halebard is always good (45 dmg on it doesn't hurt), AC is always good, Aghs is good. Consider the 15 stun talent, especially if there are not many stuns on your team (skeles talent is objectively better 70% of the games, it's true), and if you are actually offlaning, PLEASE, get the stun talent at 25. I see hard carry build and playstyle on offlane WK = report for role abuse. You want to play him like that -> que for carry pls.

@@Kyubashi I understand the good intent...but that is in theory. In practice, what happens in that level, is that only half is implemented, at most, and guess which half is usually skipped/not implemented... yup, the playstyle.

I was a WK spammer for so long. Have more than 700 games on him. Alternate style on the arcana. 60% win rate even. But I just don't like him right now. I don't think he is bad. But I feel he still lacks 1 or 2 buffs

That's a pretty based take, honestly. The reality is that it's actually very likely he's going to get buffed again (perhaps after some minor nerfs). Whatever the case - I can highly recommend that you get warm with him all the same. IF they buff him like you hope, you'll be ready to get that sweet +25
