Huge disclaimer: The sizing on these pants are god awful! Make sure you go up around 2 sizes up in the waist, and down around 1-2 on the inseam! Other than that, these pants are pretty frickin sweet.

@David I’m usually a 34 x 32, but I went up to a 36 and the waist line was fine. The issue is in the very slim cut in the thigh region. I have pretty thicc thighs so I went up to a 38 after I received them, perfect fit. I can imagine that I’m in the minority on the issue with the thigh tightness.

I’ve been noticing the recent hype behind these as well. My buddy had his groomsmen wear them for his wedding (non-satire) a few years back and they were actually pretty rad jeans/slacks. It’s funny to see now cowboy culture in today’s fashion.

Sizing (5/2021): I just ordered 5 pairs of these from Wrangler in my true to size measurements (30/29) and they fit perfectly with a little breathing room in the waist. Not sure if there are quality control issues or if people don't know their true waist sizes, but the marked sizes are spot on! Forget your Levi's 501 size for reference as Levi's sizing is horrendously inconsistent and uses vanity measurements. That said, I have slim thighs and can see how two men with the same waist might fit into the trousers differently. Know your measurements/body type and you'll be fine.

Since my teenage years I've always used this model in several colors paired with different colored Chuck Taylor's and some regular T shirts in a monochromatic scheme or just mixing it up but always a clean full colored shirt without any patterns nor stitches. I have an obsession with things fitting me perfectly so I went to get my shirts and pants fixed to my proportions. Then, when I grew, let's say.. In the range of 35, 40 years old I keep using them with casual dressing shirts, Ives Saint L. boots and loafers. They hold up extremely well I'll say. I am a fan of wrangler jeans as well, that cowboy style fits my hips and thighs very comfortable. Anyway, great video. Loved the added explanations about fashion trends and so. Keep it up

Fell in love with flared pants ever since I saw the ones from Staatsballett's first collection. I won't get these though, they're 100% polyester (bad for the environment) and it's priced so low that I assume they probably exploit garment workers. You can try making your own with Avery Ginsberg's DIY instructions video. You can also buy a straight leg pants and go to the tailor to slim down the thigh area, worked pretty well for me.

Finally!!!...I found someone who is putting out quality content about men’s fashion. Your topic was on point and an actually useful tip of where a guy can “get that look” without it feeling like the worlds lamest commercial. Most KZbinrs doing men’s fashion are putting out videos with 10% regurgitated uninspired advice, 85% shitty commercial and the remaining five is an amalgam of hair product, bronzer and muted lighting. This was everything that all those channels aren’t. Your content was thought out, relevant, entertaining, and you have a point of view. Well done. Really...I’ve only seen this video so far, but I’ve already subscribed. Keep creating content because there is definitely space for a channel that is sort of past those “traditional “ gender stereotypes about men and fashion. I feel like you’re in a position to flip that on it’s head. Good luck to you. I’m gonna be watching. Hope your channel totally blows up.

This comment section is turning into a leftist love fest. Cowboy and rodeo culture hold the two traditional gender roles in the highest regard. So why do people wanna come in and change that. Their are plenty of other sub cultures out there so pick one and stay the fuck away from ours!
@billyckjelson
@billyckjelson 2 жыл бұрын
@@xeverettx2564 You are astonishingly ignorant of your “cowboy culture” history. Gays and Trans people have been a part of the Rodeo/Cowboy scene longer than I’ve been alive. My previous comment had nothing to do with the stupid shit you just spat out of your uniformed and bigoted mind….but I feel obliged to come correct your mistaken belief that you have any understanding of what “cowboy” culture is. I’ll try and use words and terminology even you can comprehend. Gays and Trans people are everywhere in “your” little world. They are running barrels and holding on well past 8 seconds. They’re making and selling those totally Heterosexual leather chaps. There are freaking gay rodeos. (Which actual straight people go to as well!….I know. Beyond belief) They are ranchers and farmers who will work circles around you on the land that’s been in their family for generations. They are at your grain elevators and custom combining. They are raising their own families with traditional values in “your” community. The gays are everywhere! It’s far too late to keep them out of your community. Fags settled the west right along their “traditional “ gendered identifying neighbors. They’ve been there the entire time. I know…you’re probably afraid. I get that. You’re weak and scared that someone will figure out your professed hatred for the queer folk will expose you as the latent homosexual that are. Fear not though…..you can live in self hatred and self denial forever if you so choose. No one is gonna make you suck anyone dick or put you in a pretty pink dress. You’re safe from that almost certainly. Let’s be clear though…cowboy is queer as all get out. Has been forever. I have seen two of the biggest redneck, shit kicker ranchers ever I dancing cheek to cheek, buckle to buckle, and cock to cock at the local town hall where we have dances for the entire community. (Meaning the entire town….in a red state that’s population voted for 75% in favor of re-electing trump.). Nobody gave a shit…:and those boys liked silly as hell dancing like that. You are the one who is the problem. You are completely out of touch with your own community. So live apart and leave stupid hateful comments on videos for mens fashion….no one will miss you I can promise you that. And the “cowboy” culture was NEVER what you think it is or was….those pesky gays were there all along. My last point…and bravo for you for making it this far reading without any pictures to help….My comment about “gender norms” was more in reference to men being less afraid of being perceived as gay simply because they are interested in fashion. It was not a comment on cowboy culture. You dumb fuckin piece of shit. Good luck with your hateful wish that anyone not like yourself leave “your” community alone. Is it considered a community if you are the only member. I wonder. Anyway….go suck your best buddy’s dick tonight. You’ve probably been wanting to you since you the day your balls dropped.
